YES! You are playing my game Sarah! Super stoked to see you playing Craps!! I noticed you were throwing A LOT of field numbers, don't forget that bet also. It's one of my favorites. I am commenting at about 8 minutes in and so far so good! Looks like you are killing it. Unfortunately, now you will naturally abandon all the other, lesser games, because you have "crossed the Rubicon" and finally played the game of all casino games. LOL. So, the next steps are working on your dice control, finding your favorite dice set and hold (to really influence the dice), and working on some betting strategies.......I know, I know, NOT, LOL. Mega kudos for doing this for us!! Love it! PS: After seeing every roll, if you can continue to roll a lot of field numbers, you will make a KILLING on field bets especially with all the 12's and 2's you throw (they pay double or even triple the bet). Food for thought for next time.

you may live in Vegas...but you couldnt be more wrong about the odds. 10x isnt the standard- its not even common.
@@barbarapisarski4144 no they don't Fremont and Cal is only double odds. Golden Nugget and horseshoe is 3-4-5 times odds

Great vid! I am learning craps too I always like to load up on come bets after each roll the the occasional hard 6 or hard 8 bet if I have a matching point. Same with the field bets to cover a craps roll.

@@EricwkgnilUnfortunately some casinos are too focused on getting as many rolls as possible. Of course the dealers want to keep the pace going so it's not too boring but should not go too fast. Try asking the boxman for the stickman if they can slow down.

You max your odds bets which is good. The odds bets are the only bets which pay true odds. You might consider adding the 6 and 8 as place bets if they are not the point since they come out a lot, second only to the 7

Holy craps Sarah! just went to look up the rules for craps, got a feel for the basic betting but all the side bets are too confusing. Thanks for keeping it simple, can't imagine playing at a busy table though, cya tomorrow.

Hi Sarah, fun game . It’s cool that El Cortez let you film craps there. Next time ask the dealers to explain the odds and the payout differences between a place bet , come bet, hard way and hop bets. There is some strategy . That sequence when you kept rolling a lot of numbers with the point of 5 and 8 (starting around the 16 minute mark ending about 24) you could have made some good coin with doing across place bets. Just trying to help 🤑👍🎉
Lots of strategies with craps. You bet the way I play, so this was a great watch. Avoid the hard ways, and you can place the numbers as you work the come bets. It will pay for your odds. Keep at it!

You might have officially broken ground by being the first ever to get casino approval to film video at a craps table! Yes, craps has been filmed before, but always in secret.
If you continue to do table game streams like this, you'll probably also need a name upgrade from SlotLady to something like CasinoLady, BettinLady, or GamblinLady. :)

Love your channel and subscribed after watching some ultimate texas hold'em for an upcoming trip. I'm new to the craps game also but noticed around 3:33 you short rolled and it was 7 out. Later on in the game you short rolled and then had to "re-roll". Are there rules for rolling 7 short that are different for other numbers? Just curious ;)
I’m not really sure, but it’s up to the discretion of the house! You’d have to ask your local casino what their rules are!
Another great video! You are getting better for every video made! You did really well for your first time playing Craps. Just one Tip. Always LISTEN to your Dealers! They want you to win! When you win, the Dealers win. At 34:00 you throw a 2 CRAPS and the dealer gives you a TIP to bet $5 on C&E. Unfortunately, you make a comment, "Those don't come up that often", and then you throw a 6 EASY followed by a ELEVEN. At that point you've thrown the dice 140 times and little did you know that you hit the C&E 29 times. That is very often. 1 out of 5 throws to be exact. Always listen to the Dealers' advice. Hitting C&E 29 times is a lot of money. Your final throws are 159 and your total C&E'S are 32 times. That is about 20% or 1 out of 5 times. Anyway keep up the great work! @Myco thanks for the count, i also noticed that SL was rolling a high number of c&e's and a high number of field bets. Had i been there i would have been hard pressed not to be playing the field and horn bets
sure looked like there were a number of short rolls (not hitting the back wall) that landed seven and they went ahead and called it good or am i mistaken because of the camera angle?
No, there were some short rolls (as I’m still getting used to throwing the dice!) that they said was fine.

I have been dealing craps for 10 years. I wish I could deal to you one day, but my job doesn't allow any filming.
also just as a caution, they dont like any odds bet placed except in the come area. It isnt that they dont trust you, if the stack of their chips gets spilled, knocked over, mixed in, etc, the camera can help sort out what bets were yours and what belongs to the house. kind of like trying to put your money in a cashier's till before they give you change? a security feature to protect you and the house.

El Cortez loves you. $10 minimum and you only have to play $5. Not getting yelled at for not hitting the back wall with the dice is also nice. :)
I was playing full odds, so they were okay with only doing a $5 bet :)

@ Slotlady....you may or may not know this by now but place bets are a better bet than a Come bet. Place bets actually pay more, up to a certain amount of money, but the way you were playing the Come you'd be better off with a place bet. In addition, if you have a lot of Come bets on the table and then you roll the point, on the next come out roll, if you roll a 7 you win on the Pass Line but you lose your bottom bets on all those Come bets you had, which means you have to protect those bets with a higher Pass Line bet or some bets on Any 7. Come bets come with a little baggage.

I watched your complete 1st video and find you have a consistent delivery of die from that end position. In my opinion the best die delivery persons are women. Keep at it. You may find it more rewarding.
I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to all casino games. But I just can not seem to wrap my mind around craps, and have tried for many years. Honestly I make the most money playing poker against other players in poker rooms not against the house.
It’s a bit of a complicated game!
it's actually pretty easy... when the button is off pass line 7 or 11 win and 2, 3, 12 you lose. Once the button is on is when a number on the board comes out and that is the number now and 7 will lose anything else doesn't matter unless it's the number that came out at the start hits and if that happens the button go off and start all over again.
Love craps you should try the craps machine I heard there great to use. Plus you should bet the field more. For beginners do pass line plus odds The field and 6&8 if your on a hot roll can so heaps
Place the 5 along with your 6/8/Field and you have an Iron Cross aka every number except 7 pays
Only play field if it pays triple on 12. Otherwise house edge is too much.

It's a common superstition. There are lots of them in this game. From playing the game for 25+ years. You break up someone's rhythm and wild stuff happens. I was on a hot roll once and in 20 min they changed the stick man 3x

The strategy you’ve been using is called the 3-point molly. With max odds, it’s the mathematically best way to play. I just don’t usually have to bankroll to risk up to $165 per hand.
Below in the pastline what does that bet called, and how do you win in that bet
Those are the “odds”, and if you roll the point number, then both that bet and the pass line bet pay out!
Posted as a $10 table but they let you play $5 on the Pass line. Cool.
Suggestion for next craps stream: if you have someone else roll for you.. you can be on the other side of the table. This means your bets and the dice land on the same side so you don't have to cut between 2 cameras. Anyways, I always enjoy your videos.

Make the game simple. Place bet the 6&8 for $6 each. If the 6 or 8 rolls you win $7, if the 7 rolls you lose both. All other number you dont care about.
Anybody else see that she rolled a 7 at 3:44 and the dealer called it a 6? El Cortez owes this woman $5

Fun to play new games. You knew to play the odds and had the basics for sure. More places need to no roll the short rolls. Makes it seem possible to play a 7 on one short roll then not pay if it was a shorty winner. 6 and 8 place bets (place 6 win 7) are great and I love to place opposite of the point (place 4 when 10, place 9 when 5 etc., completely biased selective data for this one). Streaky game but everyone playing the same "hand" leads to great interactions with other players. Musta been an odd time you were playing as no one joined you at the table.

So when u had the 9-10 come bet up and u hit em tell them to leave it up that u get paid every time u roll it instead of taking it down betting come and putting it back up. And u can move em if points 9 and you have 10and5 up you can move to 6and8 3 ways to hit a 6 on 2 ways to hit 10 9 5 etc

About two years ago I was in the same position- had no idea how to play- then went to a table and just watched and asked questions for about 20 mins. After figuring out the game after some instructions for a bit; it was at that moment I realized craps is the best game if you are going to gamble. I now only played craps every time we go to Vegas.
The first roll is the "come out" roll. 7 or 11 wins on the pass line. 2, 3, or 12 lose.
Any other number (4,5,6,8,9,10) becomes the "point." Then you're rolling to "make the point."
Eg if your come out roll is a 6, you must roll a 6 to win. Any 7 loses, and 7 is the most common number.
Sounds complicated but it's not. If you want to learn to play I suggest Mike Shackleford's videos on the subject.
That's how I learned to play.
You can make craps a very simple game. Bet a few numbers like Sarah did. K.I.S.S. ( keep it simple Sarah) . There are tons of bets most have a huge house edge but can be fun... But it's just math and probabilities.

The game is great for when you are with casino friends and you want to have fun all together. At first it seems very complicated, but there are only a few basic rules that you will enjoy when you learn. I have even increased my money 50 times, but only once and most of the time this table is best way to lost. Great only for when you want to have a good time with a bunch of friends and need collective adrenaline.
I love craps, my all time favorite game. I always make a horn bet after the point is set, you would have been the perfect person to bet on that way. So many crap rolls after the point... NICE.
Dealers could have been a bit more helpful to a novice player but they seemed friendly.
BTW... Just bad luck to mention "7" at the table. ( Like when the dice left the table and you said probably would have been a 7) if you play with others they may not like it. It's still all math and probabilities but people are superstitions.

Usually 2 come bets with odds like she was playing. But honestly I’d read a good book on the game. Or check out several you tube channels about the game and different strategies And play around with them at home before I went to the casino.
One of the best books on the game is called “The Dice Doctor” by Sam Grafstein

For somebody that “is new to dice”; you executed a pretty good 3-point Molly for the most part.
You should play again. Try the iron cross play the 5,6,8 and the field. The only number that will hurt you is the 7. Also shoot closer to the stick man.

Sarah for never playing craps, you did awesome. Anybody that says "you should bet Field along with come, and do a crap check on come out, etc" lose more often than you will. You played at a 10X odds table, and always took maximum odds. You didn't bet the proposition wagers. From mathematical standpoint, you played perfectly, which (no offense) is surprising based on way you play other table games.
Now if you wanted to have some fun with it; yeah throw money on hard ways, field, bet across (placing all the numbers)... but betting just Pass with maximum odds, you have casino lowest edge against you. Come is same as pass line, and it is irrelevant what was rolled before so you just constantly making same low house edge wager.
I didn’t really do many side bets, because I was still getting a feel for the game and didn’t want to confuse myself! 😂😂😂 I understand side bets are not the optimal way to play most of the time, but I think they are fun!

The come bet is a waste. You should just make place bets on your favorite numbers after your come out roll. You have to hit your come bets twice to make money. You only need to hit your place bets once to make money. The dealers should have told you. Great video

the game is easy, its the betting that is the complex part
first roll is the "come out roll" and if you roll a 2, 3, 7, 11 or 12 nothing happens - any other number establishes the point
the aim is to roll that point number before you roll a 7
if you roll the point, you get to roll again with a new come out roll - 7 and the dice move to the next person

Why do they bring the bet down every time she hits the number?
Can you provide a timestamp for what you are referring to?
On come bets when you hit the number, the bet comes down. There was a 5 hit with a come bet so it was what's called off and on.. the bet stays. If you make place bets they stay up till you take down or big red hits (7)
With your style of play, you should always have something in the Come bet.
I pretty much played the come bet the whole time!
Love your show. S.L.! I like your fearless approach. However, Craps takes a long time to master. With your style, you bet the Come every time so that you can continue to get the best odds. You were (often) letting the Come fall a lot, losing out on hundreds. You’ll do better in the future. By the way, The El Cortez is always a place I play when I’m in L.V.

Good point. ( There might be a pun there???) Also if you have 2 come bets working and you 7 on the come out, the dealer should offer you to keep them up, just pay the $10 to replace the lost come bets
