- In this science experiment, 10 microbes battle for control of the petri dish. Whenever they reach a certain size, the scientist will take half of their mass as a sample into a test tube setup where it will mutate a new ability before being returned to battle.
Cells automatically spawn food over time. Microbes eat food to gain mass, and constantly lose mass over time.
Upgrades available:
Spikes - The microbe grows spikes that will deal damage on contact with enemy microbes.
Pull Food - A forcefield will pull nearby food towards the microbe.
Split - Reduces the mass threshold required for the microbe to split again.
Faster - The microbe moves faster.
Less Drain - Reduces the percentage of mass lost per second.
Chase - The microbe will steer towards the nearest enemy microbe, it also gains some damage when touching enemy microbes.
All upgrades increase the amount of mass required for the next upgrade. - Ігри
Draw food was definitely overpowered but still fun to watch, and I hope to see more like this :)

It started to snowball once magenta had one with pull food and chase. The combination made for a perfect hyper-agressive cell that would take anything and everything.
I liked how the pipette seemed almost human, like it was struggling to put down a microbe at times, and it was moving around eratically.
It wasn't quite fair how some microbes didn't get any help. But still fun to watch and at least yellow didn't win!
Indeed, like the system is based on rewarding the team with the best luck rather than helping the teams that really really needed it (blues and brown)
I believe it's based on food/health, only the team who filled up their food bar got an upgrade.

I was rooting for pink the whole time :D
The neighbors just keeps bumping them and stealing their food at the beginning and even cut their territory in half. And lime just keeps pulling pink down but they still made it :D

That pull food one was practically necessary to win.
As soon as pink got pull food, it had the massive advantage.

This is an AMAZING game idea but good god pull food needs to be nerfed quite a bit, or maybe PULLED from the game (I'll see myself out)

I'm kinda amaze how Brown can withstand some strong amoebas in the dish but yeah Magenta really took advantage of it's pull food. I see that Blue just....very unlucky to not be able to move around tho...

the mutation selection seems rigged
In a way it kinda is rigged... with softbodies they don't really reliably fall like marbles would. So what I did for this one was to make invisible forcefields that alternate which direction (at each junction in the upgrade part) the microbe is pulled in.
Purple is better than all these colours

@@tom_70_ads I've been wanting to for a while, but honestly I've been having a bit of a "writer's block" on it, every time I open the project I end up not doing anything. Months ago I wanted to make a fleet battle variant with redesigned plinkos, then I was thinking about a boss battle one... but at this point maybe I'll just start small with another simple duel or FFA with maybe a few new weapons.
