BETA (max)
Blake thought the foot being broken was going to be the worst thing he'd see in this movie...oh Blake you sweet summer child...
he bout to see worse stuff
Dead Meat’s kill count referred to him as “Slow A** MFing Jeff” 😂😂😂😂 and that is so very fitting. He moves so slow in the whole movie like no one‘s life was in danger
Lmfao😂😂I Literally Just Said That Shout Out Too James A Janisse
I just busted out laughing all over again! 😂😂😂
Yup. I said it out loud when they were talking about him.

“Why are you shaking?!” Maybe because if she makes a wrong incision the shotgun collar around her neck will detonate? lol

Kudos to Blake for hanging in with this series. I know these types of films are not his jam, so good on him.
This movie might break him lol
Wait till he gets to the beserker. I think that’s next movie or 5
This reaction has convinced me that we very desperately NEED Blake and Cojo to react to Evil Dead (2013).
Naw
The best evil Dead film
@@ChristianDanielMunoz Completely agreed! I know the original set the stage, 2 is an iconic classic and Army of Darkness has a huge cult following, but 2013 really hit all the right notes for me.
Bros SAW 4 got more gore scenes than this SAW 3 get your vomit bags
Agreed. That movie TRAUMATIZED me. I didn't sleep for five days straight, I was having night terrors during the day!
Yes, the traps will keep getting gorier, but the story will also get so much denser and interesting! Brace yourselves for flashbacks, flashforwards, piecing together the puzzles and linking the people and the facts, it really gets crazy, but sooo good!!! Lots of people hate on 4, 5 and 6, but I honestly like all of them, especially 5 and 6. The twists are insane! Glad to be here another week with you guys. Keep'em coming!
I liked 4-5-6 to better than the 3rd
Don't listen to the people who say the rest of the movies are torture porn. They just can't handle gore. There's good storytelling throughout the whole franchise.
Yeah my friend was pleasantly surprised to find out that there’s an actual story that’s connected to each other. He thought it was 10 movies of just traps 😂
Honestly I find III and IV to be the "torture porn"iest ones, but it's nowhere near, like, Hostel
@slashb7836 exactly. Torture porn is just gore without any subtext. Hostel and Human Centipede for example are torture porn.😂
What good does the storytelling do when the story itself is bad? It's a fact that saw has the worst story a long time franchise like this ever had. So while they're not just TP, there's not a great story to be found either.
@@21shanksExactly. The reason people say that it isn’t much about the story is because there barely is one and the little that there is isn’t good. Another reason why people agree that the first three are the best is because of James Wan and Leigh Whannell. Once they stopped directed and writing the films, difference from 4 on is extremely noticeable.
Blake’s gonna have a hard time with the traps with the films later on.😂😂
I doubt it. There aren't any worse traps in the franchise and they also cut back a lot on the gore and practical effects.
This movie got positive reviews by critics, which is crazy, considering that the first two weren't well received.
Critics are kind of idiots. They judge by irrelevant small details.
Did it though? It has a 29% critic rating on RT and I don't remember it ever getting much higher than that but I could be wrong.
@@krabmensen You're right. It's 29 percent.
It's a fun movie
@@azazello1784I agree but the first 3 are prob the best ones after that it’s just trash
That first nail bomb trap was completely rigged btw. There was no way he was getting that chain out of his jaw. You don’t have the strength needed to completely rip a part of your skull away from your body, he was dying even if he got every other chain off of him.
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast in my life
Idk if you guys missed it but John takes something to keep his heart rate down before he lays down in the bathroom
I believe it’s some sort of temporary paralytic/ sedative that slowed his breathing and made it so he didn’t move.
It’s the one he tested on the guy with drilled on both sides of his head
Amanda in this film made me like John even though they are both horrible people . She and Jeff were testing my patience throughout the whole film 😭.
I love how everything John says has some kind of hidden layer or deeper meaning. And he tests people based on their obsession or what he considers to be their fatal flaw. In Saw 2, Eric had a habit of framing people for crimes they didn't do, gunning down unarmed suspects and being very violent and temperamental. So his game was about sitting face to face with John and remaining calm long enough to get his son back in a safe place. He failed. So he was left in the bathroom to rot and John continued his games.
Jeff is at a crossroads. He is face to face with people who either influenced or were witness to his son's death. To choose vengeance or forgiveness. But it wasn't just those people he had to choose for. It was also John. Could he forgive John at the moment of truth? No. So he lost his wife and now his daughter is lost as well. BUT, it wasn't just Jeff's test. It was also Amanda's because John knew she wasn't actually interested in carrying out his vision and rehabilitation. Her games were unwinnable. Both Jeff and Amanda were being tested to overcome their greatest obstacle. And they failed. Amanda will not be John's successor and Jeff has lost the two people he cares for the most. Game over.
my fun fact for saw 3. 1000 posters were specially printed for saw 3 and sold all proceeds from the posters went to the red cross. All printed in red ink, Tobin Bell had 2 vials of blood drawn and they were dumped in the red ink vat that were used to print the posters.
That sounds like a Satanic ritual.
That's pretty fuckin kool
@@w1975bAnd probably was! If you keep a eye open, you'll see there's a lot of it in todays industry. Lots of music clips with subtle or not so subtle 😅, demon worshipping
@@matheusm8239 yep, it's everywhere. In the effort of making it seem "normal".
@@w1975b You know, people play up the whole “satanic worship” thing because it offends people. Most sane people know there’s not really a satan. Or a god for that matter.
Blake was going through it! 😂😂
And it was hilarious 🤣
😂😂😂😂
Shoutout to Leigh Whanell for sticking around to write the first three Saw films. It makes for a nice little contained trilogy in which you don’t need to watch the other films to be satisfied.
cannot wait till he watches saw X!
The next movies are not just about torture. Each movie will have more and more backstory and callbacks to other movies. You guys are all bound for awesome stories.
“John’s being such a good sport right now” 😂
Okay but why is the guy in the cap so cute though 😂
Amanda is one of my favorite characters in the og trilogy. And regarding some of you not liking her in this movie, her spiral makes sense. She is clearly mentally ill, whether it's from using too many drugs over time, or just something she was born with. John is her everything; he brought her out of the gutter in her mind, and she feels important and loved by him. Seeing him giving attention to Lynn triggered her mentally and people with that kind of mental illness can'talways control how they react. She's not being dramatic, she clearly has some sort of trauma or abandonment issues. And also this may be the only time in her life that she's felt in control and the power is intoxicating.
You can tell during the film that John knows that. The part where he says I love you to Lynn is not on purpose because he's hallucinating. But the other scenes where he's stroking Lynns hand or telling Amanda to leave the room? He is intentionally pressing her buttons to see if she can keep her composure. In my opinion anyway.
This movie is when the franchise started to pick up on the gore.
Fun Fact 3: The extended ending was basically John not playing the tape and still died with Lynn. But the small difference is how Jeff is so far gone from everything he went through that he is sitting beside Lynn's dead body talking about how beautiful her hair is before playing the tape and realizing he still has to play to get his daughter back.
The ending you’re referring to is in the director’s cut.
Fun Fact 4: There were multiple clues planted in this film that would be addressed in the next few films. Ex: In John's hallucination, you can see Obi from Saw 2.
10:18 I swear 🤬. Blake stop covering your eyes. The jumpscare ain't even happened yet. My boy over bracing for impact. 😂
There scene that showed the reason Amanda killed Adam, but it got deleted. She killed him because she kept getting nightmares about him so she did it to stop them
It’s in the director’s cut
Thank you because I've hated Amanda for killing Adam lol this makes it less worse
@@dayanabenjume4801 it was dumb honestly. I loved Adam’s character
@@OneNonlySin me too he was my fav character😭😭😭
Have been patiently waiting for this moment all week.
Fun Fact 2: There was a deleted scene involving a flashback where Adam met Amanda before she captured him.
Out of all the movies I feel this one was the most intense for me, brutal traps along with amazing story and good ending
“Possessions you’ve hung onto for far too long”

Me and my friends call this new detective a walking fridge 🤣
😂😂😂😂
@@SmileyAdventures it's true they call that new detective Hoffman a walking fridge
Saw 3 is actually considered the most gory and violent and most “torture” of the entire series, and it sadly gave the Saw series the rather exaggerated and incorrect label of “torture porn” mostly when this film was released, so if you got past Saw 3 then you’re mostly set and will be mostly ok for the rest of the series :)
Btw every one of Jeff’s traps is present in the map on DBD. The freezer with the naked woman, the pig vat where the judge almost drowned, the Rack and then also the Saw 1 bathroom is present too
Oh trust me.. Saw is a legacy charter franchise😂
"I am having a downright terrible time" 😂 poor Blake😂
If the “Jigsaw obsessed cop” you’re referring to is Donald Glover, his character is very much dead
“Where’s the mom” BOY OH BOY. 😂😂❤
Saw 3: Donnie Unchained
Maybe it's because I've broken a bone, but as a teen watching this movie The Rack was by far the most traumatizing. Shocked at how well ya'll took it, especially Blake!
And by the way, there are 3 versions of Saw 3. The theatrical version, the unrated version (the one you guys are watching) and the director’s cut, which is my favorite version of the film. It adds the deleted/extended scenes back into that version. Makes the film feels more complete and fleshed out.
The ending of that version is also one of the most darkest and bleakest too. 3 is currently the longest of the films with X being a close second.
The theatrical cut is 108 minutes. The unrated cut is 114 minutes and the director’s cut is 121 minutes.
This was my favorite Saw movie at that time. I was a teenager and watched this movie probably like AT LEAST 5 times. LOL
Ah yes - the tale of Slow A$$ MuthaF***in Jeff. We collectively hate his inaction.
Blake is doomed. Will we actually get him to vomit in HD?
The Angel Trap is my fave trap in the series (the unwinnable ribcage trap). I find it kinda beautiful.
+
The wife twist explains why Lynn struggled with coming to operate on the child in the beginning, because it reminded her of the son she lost.
It's always so cool to discuss these films with people and seeing which traps and scenes were the worst for each one. There's never a consensus, every person gets triggered by something different. My personal worst, the only two times I had to look away in a movie are in Saw 6 and 7. Can't wait to see how you guys react to it!
My favorite Saw film in the series.
I LOVE FOLLOWING YOU THROUGHOUT THIS SERIES !! So excited when I see a new video out
Awww!!! I think Blake needs a hug 🤣🤣🤣
Amanda's father abused and m0lested her. She sees John as her new father (and John sees her as his daughter), and she's hyper-terrified that he'll find another surrogate child and replace her. That's why she acts the way she does towards Lynn. And she acts "crazy" because John's impending death has driven her to the brink of sanity. She doesn't want to live without him, she has severe abandonment issues due to the BPD she developed in her abusive childhood, and her mental state has been reduced to a house of cards as a result.
Can't wait for 6 and 10. My favourites
I really love you're channel guys! Keep up the great work
Idk who told u guys sequels don’t have story. Heck saw 6 is amazing asf
The one going through your jaw would be completely impossible to pull out. Like you'd have to rip your bottom jaw out, you would die from that alone.
Love watching u guys watch these movies
This film made me question John's plans if people on traps survived. If the naked woman lived, what would've happened? It would've been nice if we saw a set of clothes in the next room. Just something to show that John had something ready if Jeff saved her.
Why would John care about her being dressed, she survived in that scenario. I feel like even john knew she wasn't going to survive because of Jeff's indecisiveness. I genuinely don't think he wanted any of them to live, I think he just wanted to teach Jeff a lesson and get him where he needed to be
@@GoodTimeForARoll I understand that John would think that Jeff would not save her, especially with the state we see Jeff in. It's just that this film made me wonder about plans in case people did survive and go to the next rooms.
@@christophermcbride2522I don't think John would care about her being dressed or even their wounds, John doesn't really see them as people but more like background players. If they survived, then the ideal scenario happened but if they didn't, then who cares because Jeff is still going to show up. They were definitely expendable and it wouldn't have mattered the state they were in. A lot like the "players" in the second movie
@@GoodTimeForARoll That's incorrect. When we see later on Hoffman dumping the black guys body on the ground he says "that's a human being". He does see them as people.
John’s a hypocrite, he always has been
Can’t wait until you guys react to Saw 4, that’s my favorite one 🔥😂

I'm really glad we all had the same universal reaction to Eric breaking his foot. 🤮
“the needle pit was peak for me” oh dear… how do we tell him
The needle pit and the hair trap in 4 are the two traps that messed with me the most
React to the EVIL DEAD franchise, one of the few horror sagas that doesn't have any bad, insane, fun and brutal films, you'll love it.

"It's not scary, it's gross. I hate all that torture porn shit" - Trudie from Stab 6, hatin on the Saw franchise
She wasn't wrong 🤷♂️
When you rewatch this series you’ll be able to figure out who did what trap.
This was my favorite in the trilogy
I think far too many people get distracted by the blood and gore and forget the storyline. For me, the storyline makes sense through the first 7 movies and picks back up with 10. But if the gore is too much, I'd say turn away now--it's gonna get worse.
I don't speak English but I love their reactions, luckily there are subtitles
"A delicious meal" 😂😂😂 don't think he's been there long enough to stoop that low 😂 also, yeeeeah, that reaction from Blake and Cojo at the foot was very fair. I have a hard time with these ones 😂
I also cant wait till yall finish the series
The rack is by far one of the most brutal traps in this series. Also I can’t help but laugh due to Jeff being nicknamed Slow Ass Motherf*cking Jeff by Dead Meat. Even in the scene where he has to save the guy from the rack he just starts talking about his anger and how he wants him dead and you hear Timothy in the back go “OH MY GOD!” Like ik it’s him in pain but it’s almost like he’s like “please stfu and help me and don’t stand there!”😂
Also don’t know if this was told but Tapp doesn’t die in the first movie but dies in the video game where you play as him after the events of the first movie. In the end he goes home and just “deletes” himself from the mortal world.
Just wait for Saw 4 boys
Every time I see a saw reaction coming soon I am so happy!!!!❤and Blake covering his face 😅❤
9:21-9:40 that transition was shot with no cuts. (Can't think of the technical term) The actress ran from one set to the next and jumped in the bathtub really fast. She said in a commentary that's why you see the water moving. Lol
A single take? They did the same in Saw IV between the hair trap and the police precinct
@@Matthew_Rushton A one shot
I had the same reaction to Saw III as you when I first saw it in the theater in that it was overly gross, but as I thought about it, it made sense. Amanda was the one setting up all the games and she wasn’t playing by the rules to allow people the opportunity to free themselves and learn a lesson. She was out of vengeance and hatred trying to teach THEM a lesson rather than them learning it.
Excited that you guys are going through this journey. Saw has been a series that my wife and I have went to the theater every year since they started.
Some are better than others for sure (the cinematic quality gets a bit weak in the middle movies and then gets better in the more recent entries), but the overarching story is amazing.
the actor from the classroom trap acted in darren lynn bousman’s frist short film kinda a cool full circle moment for them
Blake is a trooper, that's all I'm gonna say xD I remember reading about how scenes (especially the operation scene) made people faint in the theatre when this movie came out.
I’m on the toilet , such perfect timing 💪🏽
6:01 blake and cojo have a complete break from reality
What’s the twist? His entire body. 🥲
Them thinking Saw 1&2 are better than this one is the most insane analysis I've ever heard.
I’m so looking forward to your reactions to Saw IV. The visual transitions are pretty cool and I love how these films tie together. Blake, get ready, things really ramp up👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😉😎
I’m embarrassed at how excited I was to see this was up. 😂 *snuggles into bed*
Donnie Wahlberg is older than Mark lmao
Nobody blaming you guys, everyone in the saw community hates jeff
I strongly disagree that this series becomes "just about torture". The story becomes messy and disjointed, but the focus does remain on the story rather than the gore. It's just a different vibe than the first few movies. Hopefully you all will continue to enjoy them all (other then Jigsaw and Spiral bc bleh)!!
Poor poor Blake, thank you for sitting through this for our enjoyment! 🙏
I'm with Blake. The first time I saw this movie, the pig scene completely shocked me, and I was retching like crazy. It's just so much twisted sh*t in one scene. How do you even come up with that?
Saw X is my favourite. Hope you guys react to that one.
