*You have to hear her sing RECHECKA. From what I know on her story....* what hard fate this girl had. She did not know her father, the mother was a complete alcoholic and constantly gave birth to many siblings, 8 of which were aborted. Her mother did not feed her, constantly hitting and even tried to drown her in the bathtub but in the end she threw her away in the night like a kitten on the street with a broken collarbone. 3 year old Diana was picked up on the street by her own relatives, but since she did not talk at all, they thought that she was mentally retarded and gave her to an orphanage. From the orphanage, she was taken by her foster mother and in 5 years gave her to vocal courses to develop her speech. It is through the efforts of the foster mother that we see this unique treasure

I may have joined with the rest of them, Diana is 14 years old, still the Russian Voice in Russian RECHENKA (The River), if you watch her as each song starts, she gets into character, and puts on a unbelievable show, at such a young age. Whoever is coaching her is doing a great job, you'll see mom in this video too, if you watch it all the way through you'll see them judge her and you'll her her talk a little bit. When Diana Ankudinova sang this song, she was fifteen years old. This remarkable girl had a horrible childhood. A real mother almost killed Diana in the bathtub when she was 3 years old, and a few months later she threw her out on the street in the winter, so Diana spent two years in an orphanage and didn’t say a word during that time because she lost ability to speak. When she was 5 years old, she was adopted by an employee of this orphanage and taken to a singing teacher on the advice of friends. Diana first started singing, and only later did she start speaking again. She was lucky to be taken care of by extremely sensitive people who kept her alive and made her a star that will shine on Earth for all of us for many years to come! You can hear the results of her soul surviving a horrific trauma in her way of singing, which she turned into something ingenious!
