So an actual helicopter! It looked pretty rad.
Tho it did make it to production I don’t believe they managed to fully build any or at least use any that were built. But it’s been quite awhile since I read about them so I may be misremembering somethings.
@@raymurray3401 Some were built, but they were so incredibly unreliable and unstable that they were essentially never used. IIRC it wasn't until the advent of turboshaft engines instead of complex mechanical gear/chain/belt systems that helicopters really became practical

It made it past the prototype stage and began production but it ended up being found to be far to unstable and unreliable resulting in the production of them being terminated after only a small number were built.
That blimp is actually a lesser version of a Thunderbarge, because the Thunderbarge is just that disgustingly OP.
The Chaos Dwarf Dreadquake is also a lot stronger than that mortar, but it is less accurate.
Makes sense that it's less accurate, the dreadquake isn't rifled
Ahh yes, "Gate" is what I think the anime you're referencing was called. It was such a fun isekai, too bad the anime wasn't continued.

14:50 Yes there is! You will know that he is about to drop one when a "random" incantation circle appears (By random i mean it was probably not a caster). Anyhow I got good news, and bad news. The good news is that there is only 1 NUKE, this means that once they have used it you won't see it for the entire campaign again. The bad news is that, unless they aimed it at a fast unit, you probably wont be able to dodge it, even with slow-mo, pause and good reaction. The nuke comes at a relatively normal speed, with the true problem being it's explosion radius
AI Ikit Claw gets only one nuke huh. That makes dealing with him a lot more manageable at least.
Okay I'm confused then, I could have sworn Ikit could build more than one nuke and he could only use one per battle.
The main reason you want Marienburg early is because it's an economic powerhouse, between the port and the trading reources. It can be a huge boon to your economy early.
Reggie has this way of making the most boring things into something to laugh at, such as calling a demon a British guy.

Now I'm pretty sure that the Beast Wizard is not a mod thing he was always in the game cause I remember seeing him in other vanilla Empire campaigns. But yes everything else I'm pretty sure is apart of the mod

The beast wizard was not modded in but his costume was, regular beast wizard looks like a bald gentleman.

Tactic with ikit is to hide all your units and bait doomrocket with one of your fast units. dont forget to keep your fast unit still until you see the nuke coming because he doesnt use the rocket on units that are moving

Kholek can be pretty fun if you make a point of trying to vassalize as many factions as possible, up to and including Cathay factions. (Also for the other chaos factions and their vassals, you can’t steal vassals out from under those factions and say, “I’m your new boss”, you gotta beat THEIR boss to get both of them)
It can easily take him to one-man doomstack territory because it’s not just his size, it’s his mass (so he can easily start taking casual strolls THROUGH infantry battalions like they’re not even there) and his ARMOR. That’s the part that gets insanely cheesy, and if you get buffs to ward saves and regeneration through equipment or defeating legendary lords (to mitigate the tick damage you’ll take and various amounts of armor-piercing), you’re pretty much golden for absolutely wrecking everything.

As someone with roughly 1000 hours on totalwar 3, yeah, i also dont get why people recommend karl for beginners. Khorne, Taurus, really most horde factions that focus on "kill everything around you" are way better to dip your feet into the game.
Honestly, i tend to chalk up the karl recommendations to empire fan boys trying to snatch up newer players.
Agreed. Learning how to play battles first is a good start.
Karl's campaign instead really puts you into the position of a leader who has to keep everything around you from falling apart, even though it's ready to crumble. I'm having a lot of fun with it now, but I'm glad I didn't play it as my first campaign cause it would be overwhelming.
I’ve never really seen people recommend the empire for beginners. Like the dwarfs, their playstyle does not transfer to other races. They need their artillery to weaken the enemy before the frontlines meet, which few races do.
But if you’re still having trouble with the empire, remember that. The empires artillery is busted (especially hellstorm), and is often a necessity to make your frontline have a chance st fighting races with better frontlines.
The way I go is that every minor settlement has a money making system while the capital is purely military

For the doom rocket, one strategy is to manually fight settlement battles you know you’ll lose then bunch up all of your units to bait the rocket in the meaningless battle
That's big brain! Gotta remember that when I do inevitably fight the rat in campaign.
recruiting an additional lord is better when your main lord gives a significant upkeep discount to a unit type, or the skaven cause slaves don't need to be paid

Early lord recruits can be quite usefull. For example you can bait enemy stacks out of settlements into an ambush with your LL
