"Shepherds' Cradle Song" King's 1974 (Ledger)

An extract from Philip Ledger's first radio broadcast of "A Festival on Nine Lessons and Carols' on 24 December 1974. Our reel-to-reel tape of this broadcast was corrupted and the only salvageable item was Rutter's Shepherd's Pipe Carol.

Ledger always conducted from the stalls, it was Cleobury that changed it. Made it a lot easier for dec to follow.
