Thank you for explaining this and providing links, I missed the contest unfortunately, I was going to jump on but the exchange confused me. I don't remember it being this long back in the late 90's when I would join my dad for it.
Think I'm going to run a couple more contests before playing in the Superbowl. 73's and thanks again KK4ZBC.

First thanks for the great informative video. I subscribed. I wish I had found this prior to this weekend. Being fairly new to ham radio and having never contested I feel intimidated making contacts when there is a contest going on. I lessened in and had no idea what the information was that was being passed back and forth. Therefore I didn't participate. I will the next time. Thanks again. John N6NRO

Wish I had me an indoor antenna why would operate the contest this weekend got me a nice HF radio but I may just go out to two w8bi and operate from there w8bi is the Dayton amateur radio association I think in Dayton Ohio the contest starts at 4 p.m. this is cliff ka8gov
