I hate gacha games so much for this reason. Melody is awesome, but man these games would be so much better (but also sadly so much less profitable) if they weren't just predatory lottery machines in fancy paint.
As well as far less fun... I've played many gacha, and have come to notice that ones which are too generous aren't as fun (at least not the gacha element itself), precisely because of how much easier it is to get what you want, it just makes it far less rewarding when you do.
