Alright so ive gotten multiple comments and DMS on discord ridiculing me for saying not to snipe on Metro and I'll just state why now. This video is meant to teach newer players how to snipe at long range (As that is the definition of sniping and is also something a lot of people struggle to do) and metro just does not reward sniping at all due to where everybody usually is and the lack of spots. See everyone is always in the flank tunnels or down by the trains which snipers overall don't have much room to be in and the only spot is at the very back conveyor at the respective spawn you currently have which leaves so many angles for you to get attacked from in close range where snipers are weak. These are the main reasons I say metro is a bad sniper map. Thank you for reading and please understand
@@Batyssss Yea, it's completly bs for M107 players (including me), M107 one shots all ranges from legs to the head so only boots won't deal 100 damage, so limiting yourself to headshots will only make you get less kills and run out of ammo...

I feel like the TRG and the WA2000 should be switched since the WA2000 is more of a speedy sniper and the TRG has more velocity than a 50 cal and a crazy torso kill range
Goodness wow, this is what I call a real sniping tutorial. Like not gonna lie Snowy's tutorial was kinda dry, only showing tips for cqc. Yours covers literally all the things a new sniper needs to know. 10/10 :)
PLEASE READ: Peeking spots and cover, which a lot of snipers sadly DON'T do in PF. In real life, this is obviously a really good tactic to keep your location concealed even if you miss a shot. I also heavily disagree with 6:50 as that small building will put you in a lot of crossfire, including snipers looking down at you, prone in windows to get wider angles and peek on staircases and scaffolding (golden spot for me because it's not obvious, you're very concealed and hard to spot, and you have movement advantage if spotted), most people will actually miss you and fail to notice because they're too focused on hard scoping the obvious sniping positions. I also suggest you try sniping from ground level and aim up rather than getting on the same elevation as another sniper because you wanna conceal yourself not expose yourself to the enemy. This is because a lot of people will just tip toe to the edge of walls to get clear views but exposing themself, making them easy targets for me (if you're using said bad tactics). I also disagree with Desert Storm as a sniping map, there simply isn't many sniping places, sure you can camp at the back of the map 21-0 with a .50 cal or in corner building but those are very obvious places and YOU WILL DEFINITELY get picked off in those spots, there just simply isn't any concealment or cover in those places and there's no areas to runoff and flank a sniper, it just becomes a peeking battle with fast reaction times, and sniping on that map just doesn't make any sense as the map rotates quickly in matches and how small Desert is you simply won't have a use for your team with a .50 cal because you will only fight other snipers. Many people just stand out in the open with their .50 cals but if you play smart you'll be hard to spot and harder to shoot. Also I really need to add emphasis onto peeking and peepholes, you can space ctrl z but if your enemy is in a spot that you can't see they will always have the upper hand, hide behind multiple layers of windows as you cannot be spotted through glass, find cheeky spots behind cover and debris such as the cranes (aligned with buildings and destroyed) which actually act as good sniping spots as they're destroyed and just chaotic in general (only in Mirage) making you hard to spot and you cannot be spotted through them (and because they're mangled, covered in debris, or surrounded by objects usually, they make for very good cover and concealment).
desert storm is a good snipinng map, the key is rotating around after youve taken a few shots in one spot. you also need a good secondary so pick up someones rifle or use scorpion
I agree with your statement on the desert map. I cannot tell you how many of my kills are specifically from ambushing snipers with a P90 and then using that spot to essentially take control of that entire area
It's better to camp on the hill near this weird broken structure, you can snipe the sh*t out of the enemy spawn with M107 there, if you have laser or you can aim then your spot will not stand a chance since M107 can literally kill through the sand...
@@WojtekXD-bx7jb everyone calls these hills but they are sand dunes as we are in the map dunes. But idk why people love to call it hill, ig it just rolls of the tongue
There are 3 types of snipers: The „normal“ one with an Intervention or TRG The BFG guy And the one guy chilling with a HK and a Global offensive scope at the rooftop sniping you from 700+ studs
5:43 I would say another notable spot is the very far end of the highway, if you lay down you can snipe people on the billboard really easily. With a powerful enough sniper you can get some wallbangs too
When I saw your video I thought like your just gonna said "aim for the head/body" something like that. But actually you give some real tips of how snipers work in pf.
Even I'm a long time sniper I still get stressed out whenever I snipe which sometimes result in shaky aim(somtimes), inacurracy in general. Bcs I mostly plays in small or dead sever so whenever I'm in a big server I'm just way too hard to snipe properly So just relax guys it really helps
Considering the bullet speed and torso 1sk range, I'd argue TRG is everything BUT a long-range sniper, and instead would fit into both crossmap and mid-range better.
A few tips as a sniper main with more than half of his kills with snipers: 1) Once you kill, move - they'll know where you are and hunt you down 2) Use the correct gun for the correct situation - If you're in a close range with a bolt action, then fire it off at your opponent and finish him off with your secondary! Lasers help with noscopes at close range encounters 3) Don't neglect your secondary/pick a wise secondary and melee - Use a weapon you know and equip it with good attachments, this may be a pistol or revolver, but I recommend a machine pistol as it can help you if you're against a high firerate weapon such as an AR, PDW or LMG Also You're a support/recon player, use E to spot enemies and try to get hits as you'll still get XP for assists, counts kills spot counts and supressions - Don't try to go for the glory!
One of the first tips is probably going to be "Get S bolt on bolt action sniper rifles" because s bolt basically is just a direct upgrade at this point.
One tip I have for users of the Logitech G502 if you want lower sens to snipe with but still want your higher sens for moving around I would suggest using the side button that your thumb sort of rests on. It's called G shift and if you haven't mapped it to anything else then it will lower your sens so long as you're holding that button
on crain site, theirs a building that connects to the office building. In that building their are stairs that can be used as cover and has a great angle at both the office building and the parking lot. It has good cover when using the stairs, you can throw a grenade to the parking lot easily while taking cover. You might be flanked at close range or from other buildings behind so keep an eye out for that
I can’t be the only one who thinks the Remington 700’s default irons with no scope feels good and easier to use, along with helping with mid range combat. Also crane sniping will always be the most fun camping spot. I won’t say good, it’s pretty bad, but god is it a good time
M903 SLAP is also pretty good on the 50 cals, perfect for when your team spots them but nobody gets around to killing them also its fun to shoot people through 5 walls
This video helps! While im not too good at dealing with moving target, although i started to get the hang of it, this video really got me into sniping, and im having fun with it! Funny enough, i perform really well with my Intervention with 375. Cheytac conversion and an ACOG. Not just medium range sniping, i can consistently have headshots at longer range, and could be cross map as well, while the fast muzzle velocity combine with the 4x zoom allows me to deal with drop easier.
You are very under rated very nice detail and it is good because you have experience I think you put everything I need to know in this video good job dude
For the new snipers (FT300 and NTW), I would put the NTW in long range because of the slow muzzle velocity, but with the 110x20 conversion, I would put it in cross map snipers. For the FT300, I would put it in the midrange section because it is speedy and has regular muzzle velocity
oversimplified tips : low sensitivity steady when shooting only stand still when you shoot go for the head dont be a tryhard like that sweaty guy in that meme, yeah you know who Drop tips : Just use the gun Moving targets : predict ahead then pause your movement
I don't snipe because it's literally impossible in public servers, every time I scope in for 1 milisecond and rank 300 sweat notices me and 2 shots with an M16A3, and once, I checked that the drop of intervention wasn't bad, and even if I aim for headshot with the non-drop range, IT STILL BODYSHOTS edit: good news, I learned to use intervention and get sniper kills every game, but the sweats are still annoying, and now I only play desert storm, and people call me a sweat for that
I always have high kills games with snipers40-50+ Wait, does this mean i am a sweat? *checks account* *sees rank 117* *sees m107* *realization* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Thanks for the help for the moving Target though, even though most of it is prediction it's all about luck as well sometimes it's really hard to aim where you want to kill and I've been dealing with that for the past years now and I've probably stopped a while so I can actually Focus my brain on some other stuff like i r l but since I'm back playing Phantom Forces again I lost most of my skill for the past years and I want to thank you for giving me those tips again.
i think people have been sleeping on the .375 cheytac your shooting the bullet at the speed of light and can have more bullets just by reducing bullet pen to FAL 50.00 levels of pen now it takes slightly less skill than the BFG with more bullets in the clip and 3.8k muzzle velocity at the cost of having to hit bodyshots/headshots and the inability to pierce through a certain metro choke point(it just exists, people dont do that)
When he said that Jungle isn't a good map for sniping, there is a sweet spot, a bush next to a tree, overlooking the hill which is about 300 studs away. When you're playing on KOTH, staying in that area gives you a hefty amount of kills.
About the drop, it's true that intuition really is a good guesser for the drop, especially that one Obrez from crane with like, 3 inch drop that I manage to headshot
A really good tip i personally have that might not work for everyone is listening to some chill hip hop music while sniping (on low volume of course). This might be disturbing for someone, but for me i get very high kill games while listening to music while sniping.
I like this video. I only snipe with the Dragunov SVD, Mosin Nagant, Hecate II and the SCAR SSR. IMO the dragunov SVD with a good medium-to-long-range scope is highly underrated. I use it as a crossmap sniper. Tis great fun. Actually try using SVD long range on desert storm, dunes or highway lot... Much more fun than you'd think. I recon I would put the SVD in long range 300+ studs
bonus tip: its always good to have an automatic weapon in your secondary spot. either a picked up gun or a machine pistol is handy. it also should do a decent amount of damage, have a fast firerate, or have low recoil.
seriously though, having heads go to you is such a good general tip, whether its arma 3, pf, actual sniper games, tf2, people try putting the crosshair on their head when it could be the other way around adn be so much easier
There's a GIGANTIC difference in sniping in pf and tf2, tf2 uses hitscan, if you aim at the head it's a guaranteed kill, but in pf the bullet is actually flying. Also one shoting long range snipers such as M107 and Wa2000 actually benefit more from actually hitting the shot rather than missing it because you wanted to go for the head and this guy made a slide... This is bs for one shot snipers
@@WojtekXD-bx7jb i know tf2 is hitscan but i meant the method. the method of sniping is almost always the same in all games whether its hitscan or not with slight adjustments. and also yeah fuck the aiming for headshots on 50cals
@@momoavatar4960 Well, I kinda agree. In both games you are peeking out in spots where you are not expected to peek out from and you are checking all the possible spots where an enemy can be, and then you quickly run away to the cover not to expose yourself too much and repeat from a different spot. Quite typical yet skillfull and successfull sniping strategy... But I think a 1k+ hours on Sniper from tf2 player might be a little bit upset at the lack of ease of movement when scoping without pull bolt attachment xD
8:34 for SMGs, u hav to be the polar opposite, ya got to hav a really quick trigger finger and being extremely twitchy and shaky and having fast reflexes helps a lot

Moon: *Says to not snipe in warehouse*
Also moon: *snipes with an AWM in warehouse*
*Him* "Relax and click on heads"
Footage: *Tense Running and Scoping*
Bruh that lazy purple refrance! XD
For Highway Lot, you can actually get really far out of the map.
Best 12 mins I've spent matching
ayyyy, my man with the lazy purple reference
you said not to snipe on warehouse, and then at the relaxing montage he's sniping on warehouse. 🤣
bro how arent you famous in phantom force's community
I love that spot on dunes, its the one good thing about the map
I love using my Remington 700, I am very good at aiming, I just looked at this video to see if Remington 700 was actually good.
Gonna add an obligatory comment, but you're videos are high quality af
bonus tip: its always good to have an automatic weapon in your secondary spot. either a picked up gun or a machine pistol is handy. it also should do a decent amount of damage, have a fast firerate, or have low recoil.
The trashy way of sniping
Allowing for no counter for the enemy team
Makes game unfun for enemies
seriously though, having heads go to you is such a good general tip, whether its arma 3, pf, actual sniper games, tf2, people try putting the crosshair on their head when it could be the other way around adn be so much easier
But I think a 1k+ hours on Sniper from tf2 player might be a little bit upset at the lack of ease of movement when scoping without pull bolt attachment xD
that lazypurple reference is a NICE touch..
That relaxing sniping Montage really reminds me of Lazypurple's How it feels to play sniper
did i smell a lazy purple reference?
I'll take the heart on my comment as a yes
I was looking for someone to point it out :)
I have a feature on my mouse where if I press a certain button it lowers my sensitivity into something called precision mode which has helped a lot.
mate put more of that relaxing sniper montage with jazz its so satisfying
8:34 for SMGs, u hav to be the polar opposite, ya got to hav a really quick trigger finger and being extremely twitchy and shaky and having fast reflexes helps a lot
Bruh I think it’s hilarious that you say warehouse is a bad map for sniping then use it for your “ideal sniping game” but honest a great run. Well done
Man that gold looks solid
Love the LazyPurple reference lol
When i play as sniper, i hear these lines in my minds:
"Professionals have standards"
"Boom. Headshot"
6:43 I just realized this map existed and I've even played it.... such low rank memories...
Everyone here there is a attachment you can get that makes the intervention like a semi automatic sniper but it doesn't lose anything and (if you didn't know)it's a bolt action sniper with great range.
thanks for the guide, now I can get a 25 kill streak with an intervention on desert storm
I kinda have a tip, if using the R700 (Remington 700) use stock sight and USE the line things i use that to predict my drop, i do that all tge time if im using a sniper rifle the remington is a great weapon to start trying that
1:27 M107 is most effective in CQC also in midrange and long range
8:34 is a "How It feels to be Sniper" Video reference to me lolz.
Me: Finally, a desert storm lobby that isn’t full of tryhards. Now I can win-
**KOTH**
*Casually commits suicide*
Thank you for this guide! This helped me alot and changed my skill alot!
8:50 such relaxing war.
