I've been invested in this series since your playthrough of the orc book. (didn't see the human book playthrough at first) I can't believe that in a year, I would be graduating highschool while this series is still going on.
Man, it's funny to see a conflict between orcs and then there are those red-skinned orcs. It would be a shame if a red-armored human faction would appear out of nowhere and join the battle against those red-skinned orcs.
I remember in the SOB you got an item that allowed you to teleport units to your hero (Diamond of Summoning I think). Was that removed or was it to the other side? It was cool but at the same time risky since if you emptied your base it could get destroyed pretty quickly--and as you've shown Red Dragons were more than enough.

BIG ASS SPOILERS (READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL) ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Yes, they are related. The Cave Orcs were regular orcs that managed to escape below the Dead Mountain when the First Orc Invasion failed centuries ago and overtime adapted into what they are now. This was explained in an earlier interlude when Ornasion and Haran returned from their mission from below the Dead Mountain. As for the Moghtar Orcs, later on into the campaign, it is revealed that they used to be regular orcs. The short story is that a long time ago on the Orc's original home continent, a bunch of regular orc clans has found an ancient temple similar to the one Brian had found before his merging with Bhaarizel which housed The Dark One. These orcs had released him and as thanks, he turned them into Moghtar and the other orcs didn't like this so they ended up waging war. Modern day regular orcs don't know this because their ancestors never bothered to keep any historical records of how the Moghtar came into existence, only that they are their enemies.
Spoiler: Moghtar came from Tregakh's influence. Specifically, Orcs who unsealed a part of the Dark One's power, transfoming these Orcs into what Moghtar was.
Wow, it's been a long time since we last played as Rangul. Surely nothing bad will happen to him by the end of this mission.
Don't worry! Rangul was fine.
- Brian, "trustworthy" source 2023.
Rangul made it out fine.
I just realised that you're a fine lector now after all this reading through the years. Nice, clean and understanable even for non native. Good job!
Thank you

Vanesa perk is really good. Even in high upkeep you get 9 gold instead of 6. And at max lvl 13 gold. Very good economy tool.
Orcs, Cave Orcs, Moghtar, this is getting good
At least we know now that Mogh'tar used to be Greenskins.

One of my all time favorites of the Second Orc Book. Though let’s just say it is changed my opinion with how it ends
I know I love this series but at the same time. I really hope we are getting close to the part where we left off. I want to know the spicy details.
vannessa's one might've help more in having a big army to strike with

All the way back in the first mission of this series. He raiding a manor and she was abducted, then raised in Orc society.
