I ask this because when you put the blue LEDs it seems that the result is a slightly turquoise color. I want to change the red LEDs of my SG 9800 and the covers of the potentiometers have a small red glass plastic, I don't know what the resulting color will be when adding the blue LEDs. Please, could you tell me if the 2x3x4mm blue rectangular LEDs are suitable for the SG 9800? Thank you and excuse me for so much writing.
hello my friend, dont worry, glad to help. 2x3x4 is the correct dimension of leds, and the origical caps of this Equalizer have a transparent plastic, if you equipment have a red plastic, i think you should remove and put plastic transparent , additional, you can put a potentiometer to adjust bright of the leds inside of the sg-9800, you need check electrical drawing or trace the power lines of the potentiometers,.. regards

Anyway, I think the intensity of the bright is too high.The way I found to reduce the light is inserting a little piece of blue cellophan paper in the knobs. You can regulate the brightness by puting or retiring little pieces of paper. It takes time but it works and the equalizer won´t bright such a lot, matching with the rest of the components of the audio system.
