You can still drive, as you still have a valid driver's license, it's just not on you. If you got stopped and could not find your license in your wallet, they would look you up on their computer, they would see that you have a valid license, and they would probably not ticket you, and would tell you to go get another one next week. I've been stopped for having expired plates, and they just said, go get it replaced. I lost my license, and went in two days later and got it replaced. My suggestion is to just keep on doing what you're doing and get it on Monday. People lose their licenses all the time, but they just get a replacement, they don't stop driving. Even if you got a ticket, it would be a non-moving violation, and it won't count against your insurance or points.

In California it is illegal to drive without one’s physical license on our person, this could result with being charged with a misdemeanor and fines… I just helped someone study for their permit test and this was one of the questions… baffling in this day and age when almost everything is electronic.

You can still drive if you get pulled over just give them your name and they can pull your info up it's not like if you are driving on a revoked license. lots of people lose their license.

I drive without my license all the time. If you have a valid license it’s likely fine, especially if you know the number. But it can easily be looked up. Hugs, girl!

I was out sparking and instacarting the other day and was ready to give up after almost 5 hrs and only made like $25 but on my way home got a last order and took it. Customer tipped $71. I was so happy!

In Pennsylvania, you can go online any day or time to order a replacement license. They give you a temporary one to print out, then you're good to go. Though really, if you get pulled over and don't have your license, they'll likely let it slide with a verbal warning.

I don’t take my license in, just the pay card. I had one medicine that required me to be 18. They just asked for my birthday at CVS.

Just in case this ever happens again (to anyone!) most states will have replacement ID/DL services available 24/7 through an online portal.
I live in WI and I lost my DL in the San Francisco airport. I couldn't find it on the flight home.
The moment I landed, I pulled up the website and ordered a new one. They provided a receipt with an image of my DL to use before my new one arrived in 10 or so days. I could use it either digitally or print out a copy (which i did when I got home just to be on the safe side.)
It also saves the time at the DMV! If the original is found, then it can just be cut up and discarded.

Honestly, we’ve seen statistics that if you Uber in Culver City from 11 AM - 2:30 PM your likely to make $50-$80 in those hours alone. Variations do come into play but we’ve seen many drivers make that amount during those time periods. Santa Monica & West Los Angeles the best times are usually weekends at night 8:30 PM - 2:00 AM one order alone was $24 for 6.5 miles. Another order in Santa Monica was $35 for a shop and pay (6 items around 20 minutes 3.4 miles) It really depends on days and times.

You may want to take picture of your license and always have it in your photo album in your phone. Cops accept it and insurance cards from your phone.

They must have lowered the base pay for shopping orders. I don't remember ever getting a shopping order for 2.00. it was always $4 base pay from what I remember. That's absolute bull crap.
Some states allow you to save the electronic version of your DL in your e-wallet on your phone. May want to look into seeing if FL allow this.

I lost an expensive pair of prescription sunglasses a couple of months ago when I was dashing. Went to every store I was at that day and nobody had them, or so they said. I went a few days later and the stores all wanted to know the exact day and time I lost them. I wasn't sure. They had stickers on the glasses and looked through them but didn't show them to me so I couldn't tell for sure if they really didn't have them or not. Extremely frustrating! I'm glad you got your driver's license back!!

The driver license loss at ABC Liquor makes me feel old 😂 I’ve been doing IC & DD for 2 years, I’ve only been asked for my ID once when doing an alcohol order. The gray hair gives me away.
Misplacing your license is so anxiety producing! I also do things in a particular order and get very stressed when I lose important stuff!

I have a picture of my license on my phone. That way if I lose my license I have it on my phone. You legally have a license, so you can still drive. If you are concerned stop at the police station and ask them. ❤❤❤

I just renewed my license today, did that Real ID money grab they’re doing. Took a pic, (front/back) first thing.

When someone loses their licence here and if found, has to be turned in at the police station within 24 hours, not sure if you have that in the US. Glad you found it 🎉🎉

You can drive they just give you a notice to report to court with the license copy. I had my disability sticker in my glove compartment and I did just that.
I have a button I push to start my car. I keep my key fob and my DL “ONLY” on me (on a carabiner I attach to my bra). That way no one can take my car or get in my car to take my purse when I am out doing UE.

My new rule is nothing less than $8 even for 2 miles..WHY because if you decline you will get the next big order. The Algorithm knows you will take $5 2 mile orders and in the meantime you work harder do more deliveries. Higher pay orders only for me. Thank God you have UA-cam also
The weekends are nothing like they used to be especially Friday evening and night and Sat I just stay home and do dinner only gas is 3.60 now

I have a picture of my driver's license on my phone because I leave my wallet in the car 24/7.
Most places accept the picture. I have started showingb the picture of it on gated communities where they write down your name, last name, mother's maiden name, address, birth, place of birth, and social security.
Some of those gated communities are more secured than the top secret papers in the bathroom of the Mar-A-Lago place

Uber was horrible for me today.
I had 2hr 30 min active time and 5 hours dash time today. So essentially, I wasted over 2 hours getting absolutely no orders. Well let me rephrase that, I got no acceptable orders, I couldn't even pull orders over a dollar and a half per mile. This is the state of DoorDash now.
