I have to say, I have watched this show in the states where I live, watched England, Spain. To me Simon is the most knowledgeable judge everywhere, he knows what his talking about.
Give me a break. Simon may indeed know what he is doing but does he have to be an arrogant ass about it.

When the father sacrificed himself for his daughter's success, that did it for me. I don't care if either one of them can't sing, he should be given an award for just being a great dad.

I love how, when they sing together, they look at each other and give each other courage. They were both anxious, you could tell, but by looking at each other they made each other strong. It was almost like they were telling each other without words, “I’m scared too.” Dad’s hand was visibly shaking and I know that feeling all too well. Great job guys!

I Don believe what I have just seen there. That wasan INCREDIBLE, performance of a father daughter duo. That dad is a pro singer is blatantly obvious but the 10 year old daughter is amazing with an already well trained technique(.Dad's doing I have no doubt). And a lovely natural clean tone of her own.

The daughter's beautiful high pitched voice was drowned out when her father sang, Simon is a wise judge.. I would have loved to hear the daughter sing that whole song.
Both sing very well. the father's voice is so powerful. i agree with Simon both deserve to go throw but may be not together. may be if they rehearse it could be beter ...
They are both really good, but the fathers voice is so powerful it drowns out the daughter when they sing together. I think they would do better taking turns at singing because it will be difficult for her to match the power in his voice.

People don't give Simon his due credit. He obviously wanted both singers to be in the contest but he also wanted to see them individually sing to assess the potential. Why do the audience have to boo like this?
Simon is experienced, astute and very smart when it comes to musical talent. His hesitation was well founded. The father's voice is so powerful against his ten year old daughter. They should be two individual acts, or at least sing one at a time.

They need much coaching but they have beautiful voices on their own. I am totally with Simon. She is young and needs a voice coach. He has a splendid mature opera vocalization.
