yes you can it's not going to be a bagger though it's a grass catcher so it's made of a mesh material it's like hard plastic so yeah that is an option for this lawn mower
Great review, we like the front mount mower setup. We have 5 acres with very hill conditions so would need wider lug type tires on both front and rear. We have considered a front mount flail setup? How well does the 4wd system work on these F2690 's? Your comments on this machine mowing on hillsides with wider lug ties and possible wheel spacers for this unit. I can't afford one brand new but where I live the willmar public works department uses two of these things I want to get lawns done faster and do more in a day so next year when they trade them in I'm going to buy them both of them

The F2690E is 2WD, I would avoid this model for most application. Cruise control just locks the HST pedal. I prefer side discharge, but most city contracts require rear discharge for less mess on the roads.
You can stick your treadle pedal . I love my John Deere twin pedal. All Kubota's for me have horrible hydro controls, I will never understand why anyone would buy a BX. The school district I worked for got a deal on buying four at once we hated them. I have been retired for ten years and recently I ran into one of the guys I worked with he said they have all been traded in for John Deeres.
i actually have a kubota and a john deere it took me some time to get used to the twin pedals in the deere but now i like it . what i find irritating is no air on this machine , and i cant take the cab on and off at my age .
you can also get a 72 inch rear discharge mower deck

4wd system works very well, I use this to mow a very steep hill, straight up and down no problem!

Yes more than enough! I mow my lawn with that set up, and never felt like I was out of power.

Do you think we would have enough blade speed with the 62 inch rear discharge to make a residential lawn look nice
Definitely, we sell them with a 72” and they look just as nice!
How does the striping quality compare to that of a standard zero turn?
Much better, we get the rollers made custom at a fabrication shop
kubota doesn't offer the f3990 anymore to the us I don't know about canada but I know here in the us we can't get the f3990 anymore for now that is.
