I've been correcting my finances and I feel like I can marry now at any time, if the opportunity shows up, because I can actually afford a wedding without getting into credit (nuts, ik). I can also afford a down payment on a house if I want to. So I'm not ashamed to date guys that got their stuff together, because I got my stuff together as well. If he wants to pay for it, even better! My money can go into savings for the kids college.
