Trust me, Norwegians are fully aware of their country's beauty, and they feel exactly as you do: this place is stunning. Yet, as one grows up, admiration often evolves into questions like, 'But is it as beautiful as X or Y?' or 'How could this have been done even better?' This mindset becomes second nature, shaped by living not only in a breathtaking landscape but in a place where yet another scenic view lies around every corner. Still, Norway has its share of people who missed the memo. If you encounter any human-made ugliness, it's likely not due to lack of care, but rather to budget constraints.
Very fun to see how this came to be. Felt for a moment that I was back at the village parties from my youth. I have to say there is a limit to how much beauty you can take in. I think all Norwegians know that the country is beautiful, but it's not like we go around and look at all the beauty on a daily basis. We are so used to it being around us all the time, so we save the pleasure for the small moments when it dawns on us how beautiful it is - and then we bathe in it.
Yep. It's very ironic, Vegard is always sick or something bad happens with him when they're doing something important. SKAOL SKADLE is one of their most popular songs at the moment
@@Mochi12747 i remember counting it up at one point seeing who was sick or hurt the most and i think vegard was sick more but i do know bårds been sick for both seasons of ylvis mot ylvis 😂

Æ, Ø, and Å are not considered accents but are additional letters in the Norwegian alphabet, placed after Z. Accents like Á, É, Ô, etc., are uncommon but may appear occasionally, especially in loanwords.
Do you wanna hear something a bit sad? I appreciate the beauty of norwegian nature through the camera. I see what is a beautiful picture, but I'm numb at being in our nature. Maybe I need to go and buy myself some more gratefulness... 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Honestly my thoughts exactly whenever I watch travel channels on YT that visit Norway. I have lived here almost my whole life, but the nature is just normal to me even though I know it is breathtaking and insane I only get the max feeling of it if I am walking on the mountains or visit places with huge fosses etc.

You have seen Kjartan Lauritzen before. He was in the episode you saw with Ylvis against Ylvis. He came in and sang a song with one from each team.
@@wenchet5143 wow I completely forgot that as well lol
We are very thankful for our beauty ❤ I love going on vacation in my country.
Good job with the english subtitles for those who need it 👏

I think that goes for all of us. It's first when you stop to think, and take in the beauty, that you realise how lucky we are to live in this country.
I am very much a nature nerd, so yes, that is what I love most about my country.. and the freedom to roam around everywhere, feeling safe.
