I have the equivalent of this on the wrangler. Rockkrawler is the absolute best in the suspension game and I strongly recommend their coilovers. Destroy king and fox stuff
Love that articulation! Can't wait to see the route you go regarding up travel. The devil on my shoulder says new Fenders/bumper, but the sensible angel on the opposite shoulder says bump stops (assuming that would more affordable).
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson both of ours are built similar. Wonder how one dose over the other. Well bronco vs wrangler but we do have kinda similar set ups going on.
That's some serious flex! It's definitely the way I want to go. I appreciate you mentioning the problem with the tires traveling too much in the wheel wells (what a great problem to have 😂). Looking forward to what solution you came up with. Great video 👏
Thank you! We appreciate the feedback! I think we have a solution for the wheel travel, and are going to re-test this evening with the forklift! We’ll post if it works! 🤞
Thanks man! I think you’ll love the RK truss and links! As far as shocks, I currently have Icon and they’ve been great so far… but I’m probably going to switch to the RK coilovers because I know they have a rock crawling setting for more travel and less emphasis on rebound (like for higher speed off roading) but also because they have an uptravel limiter that can be adjusted for your tire
I say trim and cut to stuff and tuck lol. I always go for the option that gives me the most travel. But that upgrade is well worth the money for what you get out of it. To bad you don't live close to me, that would have been a fun project to have done with you. Would have saved you a ton on labor as well.
It’s made a HUGE difference. I found a set of limit rings that work with my coilovers… see if I can dead stop it right at the fender… if that doesn’t work, it’ll be high clearance fenders. I appreciate that bro!!
That is awesome. I would just keep the icon and make bump stops. What are you doing about front end articulation? I have a Badlands and sway bar disconnect really helps.
I’m leaning towards bump-stops as well. I have the front-sway permanently disconnected, so we get a ton of articulation out of front, as much as I feel comfortable with, on stock CVs
@@applebitefool it was such a SLIGHT difference between the sway bar connected, and disconnected… that we (the Mrs and myself) said it wasn’t worth the effort to connect/disconnect it, and just leave it disconnected.
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson That's what I thought, might get a Wildtrack as my next truck then and remove it, it was the only thing that nudged me towards the Badlands.
@@applebitefool with what I know about the sway bars now, my determining factor would be the H.O.S.S. 3.0 steering… and now both Badlands and Wildtrak come with that for 2024+. I still need to swap out my rack from the 2.0
Thanks, and thanks for watching! 🤘 The front setup is the matching Icon Stage 3 coilovers as the rear and the Icon tubular Upper control arms (although we may be switching them out for the RK UCAs). We have the sway bar permanently disconnected. We also added the Icon forged Tie Rods.
@@martindavis8487 of course! and will do! I’m about to re-test the rear with a forklift, I’m hoping my “bump stop” setup solves the flex into the body and rear bumper… and can get a better read of how much more flex I can get out of this setup!
Does it work with stock suspension for the rest? Outside of what was modified for the upper links, are lower arms needing to change out? Assume track bar is deleted.
Yes, it does work with the factory suspension… our friends at Exodus4x4 ran this with factory Bilsteins (albeit with 74Weld portals). You will see more articulation out of the rear axle, but you’ll run out of down travel before you maximize the articulation you can get out of the system. We are running Rock Krawler lower links too… but you don’t HAVE to. Any aftermarket lowers will help (the factory ones are REALLY stiff). We did eliminate the track bar and brackets.
@@Reecesavage-Alwayswin now THAT… is a fantastic question! Long Travel seems to be the closest option… To be completely honest, if there’s any sort of catastrophic failure with this 2-Door, some kind of massive electronic issue, or whatever… we’ll be switching the front into a Solid Axle and running ORIs on all 4 corners… until then, zero sway bars is my only option 😂
The amount of extra articulation achieved by simply removing a factory hinderance, and essentially only changing the angle of the upper arms… is NUTS! Talk about bang for your buck!
2K VIEWS!!! Thanks yall for watching!!! If you guys added this system to your rigs, tell us your experience with it!!!
@8:15 mark you can really see the difference in down travel. The bronco looked a lot more stable.
it’s a remarkable difference… the in-cab feeling of stability is drastically different
That was brilliant! I hope you guys get tons of views.

Nice with my 4 door I am at 22.5" with 37" tires
the 4-Door def has a built-in advantage…
I wish we would’ve measured the 2-door when it was stock

I’m definitely not opposed to the Rock Krawler coilovers… Jeremy and the crew really do put out the best stuff.
Thats fun
Getting my truck ready for the shop this week. Gettimg a 2" lift for a total of 5". Tie rod sleeves wed.
Awesome!!! We went with forged tie-rods, helps having the peace-of-mind… but the steering rack will need to be upgraded next
