This song flows really nicely. Well played, it's actually my first time hearing it. It's my style of classical that i enjoy the most...slow, melodic, romantic, emotional, legato, simple. Sounds a bit like chopin too.
Did you know that... In 1875, Nikolay Matveyevich Bernard, the editor of the St. Petersburg music magazine Nouvellist, commissioned Tchaikovsky to write 12 short piano pieces, one for each month of the year. Poetic epigraphs for June : "Let us go to the shore there the waves will kiss our feet. With mysterious sadness the stars will shine down on us." Felix Mendelssohn's Venetian Gondola Songs from his Songs Without Words come to mind when listening to Tchaikovsky's Barcarolle. You played it very well Flaming, thanks for sharing the classical music through your channel.
This piece is, without doubt, One of the best perrormances you've done. Really deep, I can not even find the correct words to describe it. I'll be studing this One, I want to play it SOON
Very nice music and beautiful playing. Thanks for sharing dear friend. Your piano performance is so great always. Full view and Big liked. I wish you have a happy new week...👍👍
This is one of my favorite Tchaikovsky pieces, dear Jason! You play it with such grace and passion! I love your interpretation and dynamics throughout. I hope that you and your family are staying safe during this difficult time. Warm greetings, Michelle
What a soulful and expressive performance, dear Jason! Looks like you really enjoy playing it, wonderful rendition 😍💕💕🎶have a great rest of week, Jason!❤️😘👍👍
I have a casio Ct-647 and it has this song at 75-90 bpm approx and it sounds so great that when I went to youtube to look for it I realized that all the versions (the original) start very slow. I don't know if any of you have heard the version that this casio has but it is all faster and more immersive and tells a story every time you listen to it. Just amazing :)
Oh My, Are you Maria Frroku? 😱 😆 I’ve been trying to find you everywhere! Your old channel, Maria the Pianist was so amazing! I also made a channel too! My old account was called Hi Hello if you remember? 🤔 😁 Have a great day 😃
Interesting picture. I was thinking of flowers blossoming in the outdoor fields, that's why I used pink. The "something is about to happen" does describe the middle part, but I can't picture anything. Thanks!
Oh Jason!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tchaikovsky!! The Seasons was such an incredible and diverse work and I loved every note he composed....hard to believe he did these at the time to make extra money and what emerged was a series of melodic masterpieces! Your performance is just perfect and the voices are very balanced! There is a lot more going on in these pieces than one would think until you study them! Like "October", this piece is as though the right hand is having a conversation with the left...brilliantly interwoven as Tchaikovsky is known for! This was an old recital work for me and has been so long since I've approached it. For the past few years, I thought about recording it (as well as October), then seem to always run out of time for study (or my hands decide to go into yet another nerve "fit"). BRAVO for this fine performance of one of my favorite works!! ~Jackie
@@TheFlamingPiano I couldn't tell you had difficulty, so you weathered it just fine :-) I think if I record, I really would like to do October first and it's coming up sooner than we think!! October is something I can still technically handle and will be interesting to re-approach it at this more mature age. It's such a somber piece that I have to be in "that mood"...not necessary a bad mood either, just an intense mood. It's how I play everything. Without the passion, I just can't play. I find it interesting that experiences and time can shape us in different ways. Have a nice evening, Jason :-)
Hi, Flaming!:) It's a really beautiful rendition. I also considered this piece.:) Thank you for uploading!:)
Thanks a lot! This month is the perfect time to play it!
