A duet for the immortal rivals, Fujiwara no Mokou & Kaguya Houraisan. ...My true princess, Lori, steps in this time as the voice of Kaguya ( / lori-hime ). It's been exactly three years since their individual themes were uploaded, which were already meant to convey them thinking about each other. Now it's made official as a duet. Their story is one of the most fascinating in all of Touhou to interpret. They're destined to spend an unfathomable amount of time together, and the nature of their relationship is bound to change many times.

@COOLkid123 goodForLife_103 Eeeeeh… knowing Sakuya can warp time and space, if you're an immortal and call her your enemy, she'd have no trouble sending you to the basement to let you… "play" with a certain someone.
(Extreme end there, I know, but no one's ever truly called an "enemy" in Touhou even when the term's actually used in the dialogue)
@@extremmefan7305 in a scenario like that it would just piss of flandre causing her to blow a hole through that door considering she is never usually serious and if she chose... Flandre has the power of destruction you may be immortal but... Can you live after being erased from existence? Besides this is flandre, she doesn't care about logic...
Hmmm. I never thought of Sakuya being an immortal like Kaguya and Mokou, just that she has the ability to manipulate time. I suppose she could be immortal by stopping and starting time whenever she pleases thus never making her change physically, but *someone* could intervene at any chance. _Besides, time and space aren't stable all the time._
@@chickennuggets1990 The wikia states that she's able to manipulate the time of living beings, having made bamboo grow rapidly in one of IN's endings even though it'd normally take years to do so. It's possible she uses that ability on herself to decrease her aging rate, and not by a small amount either.
@@jack8915 this is true but I don't think she would erase them from existence through either way there is that chance that these two becoming immortal would get rid of the chance of being erased if any one could fully kill an immortal it would be yukari with a manipulation of boundaries she could break the boundaries of immortality and easily kill them spot on

Very nice! The relationship between Kaguya and Mokou really seems like a certainty, doesn't it? You can't have one without the other. Sure, Kaguya has Eirin with her, but with Eirin's position and where she stands with Kaguya, it really doesn't seem like an ideal outcome for either of them. Mokou doesn't really want to be alone, not by a longshot. Lots of great emotion was portrayed here and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

This is by far the longest theme you've posted to date: a few contenders would be "Touhou Judgement in the Sixtieth Year" and "Catastrophe in Bhava Agra"... I believe this symbolizes that these two girls going to live for a literal eternity...

Well done. This turned out really good, and Lori's voice worked really well for Kaguya! I also think this stage theme was a great choice, as the song's feel and title both match the lyrics well. And you did a great job further expanding on Kaguya and Mokou's relationship. It's one of the most complex in the series, and it deserves this attention. The solo songs were excellent, but this one is also quite worthy of standing on its own.

Huh. Mokou has two more lines than Kaguya in this song. She starts both parts before the duet, so it ends up as M-K-M(!)-Both for both the duet verses. Neat!
Probably just me but Mokou's singing voice sounded a little flat, however I know it can be hard emulating a character's voice while singing.
