Ambient music for the From Software game, Bloodborne, a dark Gothic and cosmic horror game with incredibly deep lore. The tracks of this album correlate with areas of the game, working as background music to enhance the mood.
The music, like the game, moves gradually from a Gothic theme to a Cosmic horror theme. This translates to a shift in tone and timbre, beginning with acoustic and orchestral instruments to a more processed, electronic, and synth sound by the end.

I consider this a fascinating addition to a Bloodborne-inspired RPG or otherwise. Not everything is intense, not everything is darkest. There are times, even under the Paleblood Moon in which hope or light can be found (I use this so much while working). It's a nice, balanced blend when paired with the intense music governing the hellish things we face with a torch and guts. I enjoy the Planets inspiration for Nightmare of Mensis.
And then, as quick as it is found, the light and/or hope is squashed under the bloodied teeth of a flaming Sawcleaver.
I absolutely love the Oedon Chapel song, it gives almost a sense of relief since Oedon Chapel is literally the only real safe haven you have in the waking world, its a small space for seclusion but it gives the sense of relief among all the bloodshed, but also gives the sense that your journey's far from over, especially with the bell tolls at the end, and you must go out, and hunt
"First glimpse of Yharnam" slaps and also sounds like littlebigplanet but i'm not complaining.
Listening to this and reading the final chapter of The Paleblood Hunt...its so perfect. If you ever want to revisit the franchise, but can't find the time for a whole playthrough, I highly reccomend reading this. My smooth brain could never comprehend how much of the story flew straight over my head.
This NEEDS more views man, this is some good music in general, not just amazing for bloodborne!

Man I love Castle Cainhurst's track, it fills me with dread but at the same time pride at my accomplishments whenever I beat it every time. Truly phenomenal.
The grand cathedral is such a beautiful piece. Absolutely fantastic.

"Haunted streets" sounds very whimsical and Danny Elfman-esque. Someone mixed some Tim Burton in with my Bloodborne!! Makes me think of Yharnam all decorated for Halloween.

Incorporating the music box, or Mergo’s Lullaby, within “Tomb of Oedon” track was smart! You really captured that somber feel of not just the area but also the whole quest line revolving around Gascoigne, Viola and their daughter(s) as a whole, hell you can even throw Henryk in the mix since he was Gascoigne’s partner and all. The that area in particular makes me so sad :(
Of course, the whole album is brilliant, beautiful work!
Just got reccomended this through youtubes algorithm. Just wanna say this is some fantastic work. Really love the tracks as they give a perspective on what the games would be like if music played outside of boss areas and hubs. I really like the moon presence track, has a feeling of uncertainty that is alien and it's quite haunting. Love this album and will listen to these tracks when I play the game next time to spice up the play through.

I love the tracks and I've heard your other music and I was wondering if you could give some insight (no pun intended) into certain techniques you use or things you do to represent certain feelings, or just tips for composition in general that could help?

Sounds like Shiki anime. / Suena como el anime de Shiki. / I like the music and how is performed, the rhythm and the chorus and also the mystery and horror parts, In some parts sound a little bit steampunk but is excellent for Bloodborne. / Me gusta cómo está hecha esa música, los ritmos y coros que tiene en algunas canciones y también el misterio y suspenso que guarda en sus notas y escalas en las que asciende u desciende y la música de caja de muñecas que le da un toque terrorífico pero excelente, además del toque steampunk que emana y que queda perfecto con Bloodborne.
Have you considered uploading each track individually? Or extended versions. Would enable ambient looping for RPG usages etc., without the danger of running from one track to the next incidentally.

Unpopular opinion, but i think that most tracks doesnt fit Bloodborne levels. Not so grim, moody, or too intensive and loud.

I think these fit very well in Bloodborne, perhaps not 100% in the game as background music while killing, but to Yharnam as a place where people live, a place with history🥰
