If I knew anything about vinyl records and the value I would have, but too many times in this business you buy stuff, get it home and it's broken, damaged etc and you're out of that money. So you have to try to get it cheap to cut your losses in case that happens or in my case where I don't know the value. I still don't know the value...they're in my massive death pile that I need to get listed! Lol
@@jayzme29 being a record “collector”, i agree. now, obviously if you’re trying to bargain you would, but a lot of the time you just don’t know the condition of a record for it to be valuable or not. the thing is, there’s so many possible conditions, so many possible pressings, so many possible perfections and mis-perfections. everytime i’m at a record store i just buy it for the price they offer usually, but like i never know if my buy is a “steal” or not until i get to go home, read the deadwax label, label the condition etc and find the value. however it doesn’t matter to me anyways, i don’t buy them to sell, i just care if it plays or not.
Yeah. As a person that works at a record store and buys vinyl all day, for those 32 records (depending on condition) at the VERY minimum I would be asking $120 for those. Man U rly Got those on a steal😂
For a yard sale, you made some pretty good finds there. Just subscribed to your channel! I do vinyl hauls on my channel as well, hoping to get some more up soon.
A lot were from 1990-1991. Anybody who collected in those years, knows you couldn't find those in a store. If you searched like crazy, you might have gotten lucky, but BMG and the clubs were practically the only way to get stuff like Pearl Jam. By 90, vinyl was pretty much 1989 leftovers. New releases were far and few between. Other countries were still producing vinyl, but USA vinyl was mostly gone.
This was a very hard video to watch. There was stuff there that I don't think I ever saw "in the wild". I get it, you are clearly into Rock, but there was a TON of stuff there that you should have picked up
Damnn you found better records then what we have in our local record store😂
That was a steal. 80 bucks for all those records!
Yeah I know. I should've grabbed em all though!
The 2pac alone is 165$ + on ebay original vinyl just what he found.
Damn, you left tons of money on the table. Learning lessons…
I can’t believe you put NOFX back! Punk is in
Yeah I didn't know what the heck I was doing. Lol
If I didn't know any better I'd say someone just planted those lps there for the video lol. Never see stuff like that at yard sales anymore
lol. I know right! I just happened to be one of the first ones there and got lucky.
@@jayzme29 eh, I'm not buying it. Kill Em All? Green? Ten?
Yeah calling bs....
Man if that Nirvana is a first pressing… vacation money 💰
Deine Art die Platten anzufassen ist ätzend. No go!!!!
"Would you take $80?" C'mon... you should have drop him the $100. You know that was robbery...
