Of all the people who are complaining about unjust comparison, I think that is not the case. The comparisons are pretty apt and I don't think there should be any stigma associated when different musicians are compared to each other. In fact, I think it should be the exact opposite, you should always compare musicians because unless we do that there's no reference point without which we can never truly appreciate the musician's work. We understand Jimi Hendrix, as what he is/was, because we always look at him in the context of what other guitarists/musicians were doing during his time. In the absence of a reference, there's no meaning in anything we say or do.
The first Jimi Hendrix of Nepal, and probably in Asia was Mansing Gurung, he has performed a gig with Mukti and his band in the early 1980's a great legendary guitarist............
