I just subscribed and enjoy your videos! I have recently discovered Swan Lake and the boat launch there. I was thinking of going up into Oyster Creek, but that calm water seems so nice. I have a Hobie Mirage Compass. I can't find where you guys launched from. Do you mind sharing?
@@johnconway6977 the Kaku Zulu is a very stable and well made kayak. With aluminum rails, and brass inserts to hold the screws down. Not machine screws like other kayaks. The Larry chair is comfortable and has you sitting upright not leaning back on some kayaks. A con is an extra pad would make it better. The kayak is heavy so anticipate that. Using a jet ski trailer would be easier to load and unload if you can afford one. The triton jet ski trailer’s aluminum are the way to go. I also use a torqeedo electric 1103 motor with foot steering which in my opinion is the best way to fish hands free. The kayak drains well with 6 big scuppers to drain and drains also at your feet to. There’s room for storage, but the front hatch could use some weather strip around the rim to keep water out that sprays over the bow. So many more pros than cons on this kayak. The price is reasonable at about $1400.00 and $125.00 to ship it to your door. The pedal drive is extra if you want one but since I have a motor I didn’t buy the pedal drive or steering rudder. Hope this helps and Godbless.
