SteveMcBee101 _ | I barely win games because the most minimum mistake I commit in pubs is just punished so hard that is not even fun, I want to be able to commit mistakes in pubs and survive, not just get focused and laser by everyone in the final circles, like I’m the only player left in the lobby.
@@Fnix-xw9ne people are just too good in pubs. good players with high game sense look to come into pubs to stomp everyone. its unfortnunate. its ANNOYING. if csgo can implement skill based matchmaking so flawlessly (excluding smurfs, cant do anything about that rly) why cant epic? their game is three times as big but the quality of life in thatgame is just not there.

@@dust7962if the competitive mode is more optimized for competitive play the more competitive players will be inclined to play it. keep the proximity launcher and storm flip in pubs. let comp have a more consistent loot table so people can be evenly matched. RNG is not competitive nor are the weapons theyve been adding.

I mean it depends what kind of people you are talking about, theres the youtubers and streamers who have to play it otherwise they get punished for it and then theres the sweaty losers and theres the rare case of there being a casual player but they usually don't last due to meeting the sweat

True, it isn't not very fun to go against. There is a difference between trying and try-harding. I think the majority of players are playing to win but some will use any and all tactics to win. No matter how cheap or dirty they may be.

This is the real reason why... Those nerds aren't good enough to get high enough points in arena to actually do REAL scrims
I think it's a mix of that and the fact the World Cup qualifiers have basically finished so whoever didn't get through just went back to normal pubs to feel like they are good against casuals!

To be honest Epic forced people to play like this. Close quarters combat is too random with the combat and the tommy gun spam. Medium range fights are the only remaining skill gap. I would say long range but 50 cal.
Nely Junior close range combat vs combat can be super fun in this game sometimes like box fighting in arena has the biggest skill gap in my opinion

Totally agree, pubs are supposed to be fun and a place to mess around with new items and your friends, when you have fun all game then get to the end and see 1x1 everywhere it's just a quick reminder that bc you decided to mess around and didn't get Max mats your gonna loose, the fun ends very quickly

This is exactly what keeps me from playing anything but solo, duo or squad. I came in late to the game when I started playing in season 5 so I already had a bit of a disadvantage. I just want to have a good time and a laugh but everytime I play, there's this tryhard or sweat or whatever you wanna name it, that starts building a castle as soon as I shoot them. I'll just stick with team rumble haha

Ahh, so this is why all my solos are like this after we get to final 10. I just got this game last week, and I’ve had a ton of fun playing duos and squads with friends, but whenever I play solos, and it comes down to even top 25, this is how everyone plays. I honestly thought that was completely normal, as I’ve got such little experience. Made me think this game was always this sweaty.

the best way to counter pyramid peeking is to do what they did to walls and floors (where you can't clearly see out of it). people may say you can see through a ramp, but you can't exactly "ramp peek" without putting yourself at a disadvantage either
So then RNG skill takes over the gameplay resulting in a smile 😇
