100% Agree about Geno. His performance has been top 10- 15 in the league for two years straight. The middle of the line was not good last year. Or the end of 2022, that's when he took the step back. A healthy line like Dak has, Geno would pick any defense apart, well expecte McDonald's🤞.
Tackles weren't good last year, RT was a disaster without Abe. Let's see Geno with a decent line. Exciting times!

Sorry but I’d take the side that Riq disappoints this season. He blew key coverages in multiple games the cowboys and whiners in particular and I think was a key component to the defensive struggles. It got worse as the season progressed too. Now could he bounce back…sure I don’t think it’s likely. Scheme and coaching will matter I just doubt we will see rookie Riq again.
I’m almost certain he will do better than last season though. Hard not to.
I think we all agreed he's got the highest variance. Could be a pro-bowler again.... Could be benched by week 6 if he's not fundamentally working for Macdonald.
He 100% has blue chip talent that very very very few guys have. They called him Tariq the Freak for a reason.

The NFL pseudo-intellectual-jargon misuse of the word "multiple" is so cringey and triggering to the grammar Nazi in me: adjective -- "having or involving several parts, elements, or members".
Same thing with "concept"

I think the concept (see what I did there?) is to appear multiple, appear like there are extra or more parts than "normal" if you will and on an individual level, a QB can't account for what a singular dude is going to do on any given play. Ravens had a very low blitz %
... Yet give off the appearance of multiple blitzing players over and over again.

@@SeaHawkersPodcast defenses have multiple parts and that's why the word multiple doesn't say anything about the defense. A more accurate and descriptive term would be something like "deceptive" or "variable". "Multiple blitzing players" is a proper use of the word. An individual player being "multiple" or a defense being "multiple" are absurd and empty uses of the term respectively.
@@SeaHawkersPodcast also yes I see what you did with the word concept and that was a correct use of the term unlike the way it's being used by NFL pundits. Why don't they just say "play"?! 😆. It's because they're grasping at words to seem extra sophisticated or intellectual.
