  • I know you guys have been on pins and needles waiting for this one and it's finally here! On today's SkinCare Saturday video we are testing Tatcha! I ended up purchasing the Tatcha Starter Ritual Kit for $74 from the Tatcha website. This two-week introductory kit includes 5 Tatcha products that are said to deeply hydrate and nourish with a moisture-retaining blend of Okinawa algae and hyaluronic acid for dewy, glowing skin at any age. This kit is also recommended for Dryness, Dullness, Uneven Texture, and Fine Lines/ Wrinkles. Ok Tatcha, don't let us down. You have 2 weeks...and we had better see a difference.
    ALSO...I'm still trying to give away the $1200 prize package. So if you entered the original contest (during the You Pick My Skin Care Video) you are qualified! All you need to do is be the first person to email thisisreallifewithsheri@gmail.com with your shipping information and...you win! It doesn't get much easier than that.

    Yeah we sold a ton of Tatcha when I managed Sephora. I got a few items free. Tatcha really has no antiaging ingredients to benefit ones skin. Its more of a sensory line due to the fragrance. Your skin looks more hydrated but honestly you can get that result with a $10 or $15 moisturizer. I can say this with the utmost honesty, Tatcha is not worth the money but does feel nice on your skin.

    I love how honest she is. Sometimes I wonder what value and truth other UA-camrs provide in reviewing the products by using it once or twice. Every review should be like this where someone test it for 2 weeks or more.

    Hi Sheri! I understand what you mean about the rice exfoliating powder. Us American women are so used to exfoliators being something harsh/rough and abrasive. But in Japan the women treat their skin as a jewel and polish it with rice enzymes. The enzymes are supposed to do the exfoliating and resurfacing of the skin. That’s why it’s called the Rice Polish. It’s meant to polish your skin! Instead of using something that scratches at the skin to get the dead cells off, the Rice Polish is supposed to be a foam like cloud and is so gentle.

    • @ThisisRealLifeWithSheri
      @ThisisRealLifeWithSheri  Рік тому

      @olivia5348 - I completely agree with you...I do think that we (especially me) expect an exfoliator to scratch our face skin off. It makes total sense that the Tatcha Rice Exfoliator is meant to gently polish your skin.

    I agree with you about not dropping that much cash on something that doesn't give much bang for the buck! With that said, I do think your face looks brighter and well hydrated! i have been curious about this one for a while, so thanks for testing it!

Not sure about that. Until you try the miracle product, stickin’ to my tret, Community Sixty-six, and MAS products (MAS) is another content creator line that is very impressive. Keep doing you Sheri!

    Just found your channel yesterday and really enjoy watching! Seeing just how small amounts are in these bottles. The skin industry has lied for ages. Aside from a retinol , retnayldahyde, viamin C, or niacinamide they really just take the dry feeling away. Vaseline can do the same for a few $$$! Btw it was a staple in Marilyn Monroe's beauty regime.

    Sorry Sheri - I really don't see a difference but don't feel bad. I bought full size of everything and used it for 3 months and didn't see a hint of difference. To make matters worse, I then spent another small fortune on Lancer and didn't see a difference with that regime either. I give up and will stick to the cheap stuff....Oh yeah, one more that let me down was also very expensive Elemis - pure junk yet with rave reviews

    I have the tacha enzyme rice scrub stuff and you only need a tiny amount, like you said it foams up like crazy. I use it about once a week and then let it sit on my face like a mask, It leaves my skin so velvety and soft. I have the regular size and I swear it will last me for a year. I wouldn't pay the prices for the other products though. Also hehe I got it on ebay for about half the price and it was completely new.
    I do like the Ordinary and Inky list, great products for not much money and also like you said ROC products are good.

    I’ve just found you today and that is all I’ve done! LOVE your shows! I can’t tell anything special about this particular skin care, but I DO KNOW that I LOVED No. 7 Tinted Moisturizer a lot letter than the Lady Gaga foundation. I know you said it was the wrong shade. I agree, but I feel it was that particular foundation that gave this skin care a negative rap. The foundation appeared to clash with the primer. If you have any left, try a different foundation over that primer. I know this wasn’t about the foundation, but your skin looks awesome! However I do agree with many…WAY too pricey. Keep ‘el coming! ❤

    Hi Sheri, I just subscribed, have watched a few videos. Thanks for your honesty and time invested in these test runs! I agree with you ... don't spend an effin' fortune when there is so little outcome considering the big promises and bucks put out . And why, Tatcha, the thick, deceptive jars? What the heck? Half an ounce, really?? Sheri, I think your skin is amazing. Whatever you do use is working for you! BTW... what is "pole"? I've heard it a couple of times now. Oh ya, you make me laugh, I love this playful, random video style😂🤪🤗 . Jw ... (hope someone contacted you for that prize!)

    I'll agree your skin seems brighter and nicer especially in the forehead area. However not 110$ worth. Hyaluronic Acid will puff the skin and can be found in many skin products both in drug store and high end products. I do find products that contain this lack SPF . I'm unsure if they do not work well together but I'm an SPF junkie being Swedish and Scottish. I usually wait 20 min between my hyaluronic acid and SPF. Or I'll do the retinol in am and hyaluronic acid at night.

      @This is Real Life With Sheri I thought the same thing about her skincare. I didn't understand why she was releasing a line or even like how it was being promoted. That being said...I got a sample of her serum and liked it so much I bought the full size. 😂 I've noticed so far my skin looks more glowy and feels softer and noticeably tighter. I am only 23 years old, but I have definitely noticed changes. I also have the start of some fine lines on my forehead that have stuck around while trying other serums. They have basically dissapeared, or are at least temporarily masked, while using Jlo's. I'd love to see a trial of the full line, because the serum totally made me do a 180⁰. 😆
