Good job kid, that's the one I getting next week.
Thanks for making a great video. Very helpful!
I appreciate your video, just bought the same mower but with a fabricated deck. Nice work!
Thanks!
I was thinking of purchasing the same mower with a Fab Deck because I have roots in the yard. How do you like the mower and how is it on hills and turns? Thanks.
@@tigergreg8 I have 3 rough acres, lots of trees and some steep slopes. It does OK on the slopes, will definitely mow up and down a steeper slope than the 15 degrees recommended by Cub Cadet. I'm glad I got the welded deck, holds up well when I run it into a tree or the ground. I think it cakes up with grass more than the stamped would, but just guessing. Needs a good clean out after mowing damp grass or it won't cut well.
@@mjinwisco I bought the mower on Sat morning and used it later that day. It's a nice mower, has good turning radius for a tractor, and cut well, but I also have a ZTR with a Fab deck and it has the floating deck, which makes all the difference in cutting.
In time, I'm going to put a more aggressive tire on it for the hills I have to do. I bought this as a 2nd mower because I have to replace the clutch on the ZTR. The only issue that mower has had in 9-10 years. If you have rough terrain, you may want to visit a place like Tractor Supply and put better tires on the mower, you'll have less chance of slippage.
Plus, I bought these and it makes it much easier to clean the undercarriage in a snap.

Just put a tarp down first then the ramps. So glad I bought these.
Lol rack and pinion steering.
