I have chaomy IMOU camera IP address to static but when i connect it to NVR it gives another ip address, and when i again check its ip on config tool it shows 2 IPs , one the ip i have given (static) but another one . But NVR don't find the static IP. Why is that
Hi Bro, You can try update the latest firmware for the camera on Imou Life app first then try again, If doesn’t change the static IP you can take the picture and send to my email I will check and guide you how to fix it. Thank you!
This is an old post but: My camera's are working but still with 2 ip's. If you're presented with 2 on the same cam you can just select one until fixing it. I'm using Linux so can't use the config tool.but there must be another way. imou has very good support but the lack of an http config address is maddening. It would be rare to have a static factory ip that matches my network. But, admittedly I haven't pursued this yet.

Is the initial/default ip of imou a static ip? Can't I use it for onvif connection without changing it to new static ip?
Changing the IP address to static will still be imou able to live stream when the phone is connected to another router?

I've followed your instructions to set static IP for my imou ranger 2 but nothing changed. tried it after some factory resets still no success

I did this because I thought that would help me to connect my Imou camera on apple home.

What is the default password.
Password default is safety code on the label on the camera. Thank you!
The instructions he gives is is leading, look at the bottom of the camera, you will see the title "safety code", infornt of it is the password
