      Hiii, I need some advice for facial cleansers for dry skin. I tried Cerave and it really broke me out.😔 What cleansers do you recommend that are for dry, sensitive skin that won't cause purging?

      Nataly Peralta Hey I would love to help! My mother also has dry sensitive skin and nothing would help her until she tried the be gentle cleanser and moisturizer her face looks more youthful and the sun damage on her skin is slowly going away. She thanked me that I was able to get her something that finally worked for her skin type.

    • @amarantagalindo758
      @amarantagalindo758 4 роки тому +10

      There is a detox period when you switch from normal shampoo to more natural ones. When I first switched my hair felt waxy because the buildup wasnt being striped by sulfates. Silicone seals in softness with plastic where natural shampoos dont. I think it definetly depends on what your routine was before and how your hair is adapting to the changes.

    • @trinityb4680
      @trinityb4680 4 роки тому +11

    Real rosewater is not a tea or an essential oil blend. It is a distilled product. You basically steam rose petals and collect the condensation. I've made it at home and that is the only one I trust. One of the major benefits is the hydration/soothing qualities. I use it mostly as a toner and mist for skin and hair throughout the day. It also has a light refreshing rose scent. Definitely one of my favorites.

      @@PennyTovar thanks! 😁

    • @Rari1022
      @Rari1022 4 роки тому +1

      @@PennyTovar this process also yields essential oils. Which is why essential oils are more expensive. Rose essential oil is super expensive because it takes thousands of pounds of petals just to yield a fourth of an ounce. If you do the process at home your water (aka flower essence) will have some essential oil floating on top. It's fun if you are interested in natural perfumes.

    I asked my dermatologist ablut rose water. She said while it won't completely destroy your skin it doesn't have the data to back up the benefits and it's basicly spraying perfume on your face for no good reason.
    Honestly i still use it tho i usually put it in my mix in clay masks to make them less drying or i put a spray bottle of it in the fridge and spray it on my skin for a quick refreshing effect.

    Side note about the Rose Water-Dr Dray is a great UA-camr to get answers from and to quote Hyram-“ingredients don’t lie.” IMO I think it’s important to choose toners/sprays with the most simplest ingredient list possible. “Clean” beauty isn’t always best but looking for a simple ingredient list is a good start.

Before I tried native, I was using Schmidt's (the regular formula not the sensitive skin kind bc I liked the scents of the regular formula better) and I got super bad rashes. But the native deodorant smells absolutely amazing and is a lot gentler in the skin than Schmidt's.
