Thunderwave does not work as a radial cube. Its a 3x3 cube the exstends outwards in a direction with the base touching the casters base. Cube vs radius spell.
Next episode a Gruul goblin archer steps through the dust of the abandoned church ‘Roight, [Minotaur clan leader’s name] said you lot could use a hand. So he sent ol Ger and his piggy Mr. Sniffles to sort you out.’ Ger loots the corpse of Reg and the party continues on.

Totally relevant rules clarification here: Some spells and monster abilities (such as attacks from ghosts) reduce your max HP and make it that you can’t regain those hit points until a long rest is taken. If one such spell reduces your max HP to 0 you die instantly. Other spells that deal necrotic damage, such as Finger of Death or Negative Energy Flood, specify that if the spell reduces a target to 0 HP the target is killed and raised as a Zombie the next round.
Necrotic discussion happens often, as necrotic is just damage but often impacted by additional death attacks tied to them. Otherwise just a damage type, unless house rules otherwise....
You can tell Craig played DND in prior editions. He's an old school "no mercy" DM that throws deadly encounters at his players every session. Not my style of DMing, but there is nothing wrong with it. It's making this campaign feel a lot like the first seasons of "Game of Thrones" :D

Poor Reg, rest in peace. :( It would be kinda funny if Merchant's new toon is a Rakdos. Seriously though you might want to make a cleric, it would really help out the party to avoid this happening again...maybe. Can't wait for the next one.

It Would be cool to have the life totals on the side of the characters during combat, I don’t play dnd so sometimes I find it hard to remember everything that has happened. Still loving the content though.
