Also, most of those players were in an eastern conference 7th game to go to the nba finals. So no this was not the biggest game they’ve played. Jaylen has been to 3 eastern conference finals and Tatum has been to two eastern conference finals. What are these guys talking about.
I know the guys were reacting to the game just finishing. But their perspective on the 4th, that the Celtics waited till the last minute of the 4th to start playing better is not accurate. The Celtics were out scored 17-2 in the first 5:30 mintues of the 4th quarter. But they out scored the Nets 17-12 over the final 6:30 minutes of the 4th quarter. Jaylen Brown scored 9pts in that span and no other individual Celtic player scored more than 2 points over that span.
This game could have went either way. I don’t think you can take much away from a one point win over how the series will go. But it was a great game though.
Can we talk about how I was a little upset because udoka didn’t use his green light special when kyrie hit smart in the face and they called a blocking foul on smart and when kd trample smart and they called another blocking. Todays game showed how ass the refs are because even Tatum game winning shot, kyrie fouled him and imagine if Tatum missed they wouldn’t have called it
I agreeee and we knew this was gonna be a problem in playoffs been saying it for weeks Brad should have called the board weeks ago!! Seems to me this always happens at home games we don’t have these problems on away games!! Now maybe it’s because of all the whining they have done and fighting refs!! Stilll that shouldn’t be the case they need to do their friggin jobs correctly they make or break games alll the time they screw the flow of the game over it’s crazy!!
Ppl forget how many teams wanted to dodge this brooklyn team!!! We DID NOT we accepted the challenge and to go and win a game like that is such a confidence builder it will only get harder for the nets now specially with Marcus wining DPOTY award he is gonna have a spark in him like you never seen before!!

But you guy got to understand WHY they let him do that. The CELTICS could not pressure the ball without getting into foul trouble coz the officials kept blowing whistles on tacky calls that’s what really happened

KD and Kyrie gave the Nets all they had. To drop a game like this... One more loss like this at home and I think Brooklyn will fold. I didn't count on Dragic rising from the ashes but I won't complain about this win. a few turnovers and bad fouls to clean up but I like the C's to get this within 6 games.
