- I got this 58 Allstate Vespa 125cc from my uncle who found it at a garage sale. He was nice enough to let me get it going and then gave it to me! This classic scooter is one of a kinda, with crazy cool patina and blue paint! This is definitely one I'm going to be holding on to, as you just can't find em these days. In this video, I show you around the bike: carburetor, tank, brakes, headlight, wiring, engine, gears, transmission... And then we go on a ride! Hope you guys enjoy and comment with any questions!

Love the old vespa's ❤
I had one exactly like yours. A 1958 Sears Allstate Cruisaire, made for Sears by Vespa. I wish I had it today. I got it in 1964 or 65 when I was 14. Before that I had a 1958 Sears Allstate Jetsweep.
cool machine, huh !!! I have the same. 125CC ... full original and running.
Had one just like that bought new at local Sears in Lincoln Park Mich Sept 58 paid 380.00 got optional speedo windshield and tail light. I was 15 years old.
Take good care of that ride man, glad to see kids appreciating classic scoots
It’s definitely a keeper!
Great scooter. From me in the UK
Great one! Nothing like a Vespa!
Thank you!👍🏼
When I lived in Indonesia, I would see thousand of These Vespa's driving around.
You have a nice Uncle, very nice Vespa hope you keep it in this condition
Was very nice of him! And yes, the plan is to keep it original and it’s patina👍🏼
I’m glad that you love it! I have been planning on restoring a Vespa for the past couple years and have settled on trying to find a Allstate Vespa. Let’s both keep the the legacy of these scooters alive!
That’s awesome! Yep, not many around anymore👍🏼
What is the top speed of yours?
@@theyoungbarista6715 Probably about 40mph
dream scooter, I hope one day I can have it
Happy holidays from FabzRustRider everyone great video keep em coming 💯🇬🇧
I found one of these in a dump, just yesterday. Tank wasn’t rusty or gooey and the slightly old fuel hadn’t turned radioactive yet. I figured if anything ends up in a landfill or a wrecker there’s a reason for it, right? Surely the last person who tried to bring it back wouldn’t give up for no reason. Got it for free out of the dump and it was a little dry seized but some elbow grease on the fly wheel and it freed right up, some oil in the cylinder and a cleanup of the bowl and jets, she came right to left. Straight from the dump first look at it and it already had consistent spark. Why would anyone throw something like this out, even if it didn’t run like why. I have no idea why it was in there the Italian brand(maybe original or close to) tires even hold air. It needs a seat and a brake refurbish, an over all cleanup and tuneup and it’s mint. Totally free.
@@outdoordaily6463 nice!!😎👊🏼
Bikin ngilerrr....
That’s so cool! I’m also about to buy my first Vespa. I would love to have one like yours, but in Denmark where I live, you can only ride 50cc scooters when you’re 15 - as I am. So I’ll get one of the new ones instead. Great video!
I have a lot of 50cc scooters, they are fun also! Maybe you can get a vespa when your older👍🏼
@@Mechanic_kid Yeah I hope so. Have a great day!
You earn way more views

Yes it is functional just very dull light! I just picked up another vespa that needs all of its wiring done. Stay tuned for that and I’ll try to show how I do the lights👍🏼
@@Mechanic_kid oh sweet. yeah cant tell on the video. I look forward to the next vespa project. my favorite.. wiring... I got 4 1960's Vespas in my garage pending work.

I got a rotary 13B seating in my garage. Will b a nice project to put on!
Is thatVespa for sale?
Yes I'd love to buy it ..loads of messing tho to the UK.. wot find ....
I hope you had the right percentage of 2 stroke oil in that gas you poured down the carb. Ideally you should have flushed and discarded the old petrol in the tank if it had been sitting there for too long. Finally I really don't know what you are trying to do revving the engine nervously from cold. To warm up a cold engine, just let it run at a slow idle for a minute, then drive about SLOWLY and gradually build up.
its premix, when he opened the gas tank the gas had a blue hue to it, oil does that to gas
How much you wont for it .have you got the papers for it ...
Restore it!..
For right now I’m keeping the patina. It’s only original once😉
There not bikes they are scooters but good scooter s ...
