Thanks so much for sharing. I love your work! Such an inspiration. I have a skutt electric kiln and have been using one of their pre programmed firing schedules and sometimes get pin holes. I can’t seem to find Camille Hoffman’s slow cool schedule. Can you point me in the right direction?
Hi Lisa, thank you for all your videos showing your stunning forms and glaze combinations! Im currently a glaze brusher but now that I have my own kiln, it is getting exhausting trying to fill a kiln with all brushable! Do you have any secrets to applying dippable and brushable layers on the same piece? I’ve been told that it doesn’t work without adding gum solution to the dippable as it will crawl when layered with brushable, however, I see you are combining these with wonderful results! Thanks in advance. Devan :)
Hi Devan. I really haven’t encountered many problems with brushable and dippable combos. I’ve used dipping glazes on the bottom and brushable on top and vice versa with very few problems. I don’t tend to use test tiles but if trying a combo for the first time I would probably only do it on one or two pieces. Also I find making sure the glazes are really dry before I put them in the kiln helps with crawling. I definitely recommend getting a pourable liner glaze. It saves a lot of time and $

You are most welcome!
I love the soft colors the best!
They are nice for the summer 😊

Hi Tracey. Thanks. Try this link facebook.com/groups/potteryheads/permalink/10158740981082201/?mibextid=W9rl1R
If you don’t belong to pottery heads try doing a google image search I did it and it popped up. You tube won’t let me add a pic of my schedule
