The niceness doesn't do any good when engine could blow at any moment. Then, some inexperienced mechanics take your new ride and engine apart. No thanks. I wait until late 2025.
I got my 2019 1794 4x4 CM on May 30ths 2020.. I didn't want the push to start so settle for a used 2019 with 2k miles. Paid 42k OTD. She's paid off now but so happy i never traded it for the new generation..
When they fix the engine, quality, and pricing issues, maybe they will move. They are about $10-12K overpriced, so who wants to overpay for a bad product? If I want to do that I'd buy a Dodge or Chevy. LOL!
The recall is for some 22/23 Tundras, but there are some 24 owners on Facebook that have had some problems. As far as how many, can’t tell until its officially addressed.
Looks like dealers are rejecting the trade off when people are trying to trade the trucks for something else , I am so glad I kept my 2019 which I got brand new , has 23k miles and bullet proof, I was almost going to trade it for the new one and glad I did not , got a 24 grand highlander hybrid max for my wife and they had to replace transmission at 3k miles , Toyota quality is no longer what it used to be unfortunately but I would still go with them over any local brand since they stand behind their warranty and will make it right … all manufacturers have plenty of issues including Toyota with its new generations across the board , sad to say but it is the reality now
It’s the same in my area of new England. Although I suspect there is even more inventory on a hidden lot to not devalue stock even further but looking to full.
I could see TundraDude34 going into a 1794 edition truck. Its not a trim he's had before, and that trim there isn't a lot of content out there from a long term owner perspective.
Now that looks like the fired, and chity dealerships across the country that's means a lot of people are wanting a Toyota Tundra 4x4 that's how the ferds and gmsee dealerships look accept this dealership has more than them as far as 4x4 go
Nobody wants to buy one because of all the problems they are having with the engines blowing up and other problems they are having with them. Toyota even said in their recall letter they do not have a fix. It's not only effecting 22,23 , it is happening to 24's also. I would be afraid to buy one because of all these problems. Toyota reliability ? What happened to it? The engine has a flaw in it's design. Who wants to buy a Tundra with potential future problems . Those Tundra's may be sitting for a while until a fix and reason for the engine failure is found and repaired. And the prices have gone out of sight, even with discounts, their are way to high for the working man. Take the new Tacoma, for instance, look at the price increase on them , $50,000 for a Tacoma, and $70000 to $80000 for a Tundra. Too much for most people to even consider.
All the hate in the comments😂. These trucks are much nicer to drive than the 2nd gen. Fit and finish on my 2024 is fine. Time will tell if I have a ticking time bomb. 🤞
Crazy to buy this Generation!! Why are you promoting this, there’s no remedy and it’s looking more like a “Design Flaw” vs “Machining Debris”. Why throw money away…?

Hi John, the 24s aren’t part of the recall as of now and people are still asking for the walk videos. Some feel this is the best time to get a great deal
@@TundraDude34 but clearly we all know they will be shortly as they have the same motor. If Toyota was smart they replace the 3.4 V6 with a 5.7 V8. Problem solved.

It's going to be this way until they find a fix for the recall some dealerships wont even take your tundra if you try to trade it in
Acoustic windshield and side windows? When did that become an option?
Since 22. Capstone has acoustic laminated windshield and side windows, Platinum/1794/Limited has acoustic laminated windshield.
Toyota rumor was dealers were buying their own tundra’s for company vehicles. To get the sales number up…And then turn around and sell them as used.
