The fat tone of Miyako's Les Paul was perfect for her bluesy solo!
HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! 🤘🐺🤘
Miho Miho Miho!
@@DavidMISAMISAMISACook Bass goddess !!
MIDORI !!! MIDORI !!! MIDORI !!!
@@TheCyberMantis was waiting for that lol
As somebody said already, one of Miyako's idols is the late great Gary Moore. if you'd like to see Miyako go into full re-incarnation of bluesy Moore, then "Epilogue" is for you. Gives me goosebumps each and every listen.
Am loving watching your reactions and your fall into the great rabbit hole that is Japanese rock/metal. I fell in a couple of years ago, and no have intention of climbing out hehe.
What else is there left to say about this band....there Perfection
LOVEBITES - Break The Wall lyrics:
(DIE) No sign of my time
Cause I wish to live another life
(BY) Who will save my poor soul?
Crying alone in a dim hole
(MY) Can't believe it's real
Cause in the end, everything is gone
(SIDE) How should I live from now?
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the wall
(DIE)
No sign of my crime
Got my scars during wartime
(BY)
Who's the one that did it
Deadly venom eating me inside
(MY)
Spent my life in vain
I can't forget everything I've done
(SIDE)
I swear to my hatred
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the wall
(DIE)
No sign of my time
Cause I wish to live another life
(BY)
Who will save my poor soul?
Crying alone in a dim hole
(MY)
Can't believe it's real
Cause in the end, everything is gone
(SIDE)
How should I live from now?
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the-
I have to break through the-
I have to break through the wall

Today is the day plss...🔥🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I absolutely loved Miho's bass riff between the solos
There are a lot of bands with great guitarists. There have been few with the luxury of two great guitarists. I go all the way back to Allman/Betts and Allman/Clapton, and I’ve never heard another song with two solos that were so great yet so different. This captures perfectly the contrasting styles and personalities of the two guitarists-Midori the extrovert and shredding demon, Miyako the introvert and goddess of blues. Nothing like them, ever.
Miyako can shred with the best of them. And on piano, sometimes at the same time (Burden of Time).
@@jay_g1984 No question. But very few shredders have the touch to play blues the way she can.
Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES!
MIDORI, the Crazy Shredder 💚💚💚
MIYAKO, the Golden (and bluesy) Touch 💙💙💙
Two different styles but so much chemistry between our twin Metal Goddesses !
🎸🤘🐺
Don't be fooled with Miyako, she can shred with the best of them, and on piano. When she breaks out the Les Paul, your in for treat.
GREAT BAND ! I love metal ,Judas Priest, Slayer, Iron Maiden...but .,Lovebites..they are complete, combine so many styles ,OMG ! Thx for reaction!
Miho Miho Miho!
MASTERS OF METAL, ANGELS OF STEEL! - Together with "Set the World on Fire" and "The Hammer of Wrath", this is my favourite Lovebites song. While Testament went "Over the Wall" (the main riff actually reminds me of that song, which is a good thing, since "The Legacy" was my favourite album in 1987), Lovebites - to stay within this picture - just crushed and pulverized it! Songwriting and playing skills are simply on a higher level and the same goes also for their live sound.
Loved the reaction! Midori favors her ESP E-II Horizons for the stage. I have the same model as her blue one. Midori looks to be playing a '59 reissue Les Paul. That would set her back $6500! If I sold my all my Les Pauls, I might be able to afford one of those.
If I sold mine, I'd have to keep selling other stuff too lol
When they played this song for their "Daughters of the Dawn" Blu-ray, Miyako's bends sounded . . . sour. On that version, she was using her Dean ML Switchblade. I think the Floyd Rose was fighting her. The bends sound so much better here with that Les Paul! Of course, Moyako was using the Switchblade on "Battle in the East" and it sounded great, so who knows.
It may be an older song, but this is still one of my personal favorites from Lovebites.
Yeah, I love it when LOVEBITES gets thrashy, Asami's vocals get a little deeper following the depth of the song. Have you ever reacted to their song "We The United"? If you haven't, please react to it. It's an amazing anthem for us Wolfpack.
I have not yet, it's on my list though.
@@GlobalMusicMayhem cool. Be waiting for it 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Listen to that bass!!
Incredible isn't it 🐺🤘
to see all 5 girls have a solo of a sort check out Lovebites Eagle Fly Free (Helloween cover) Eagle Fly Free ua-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/v-deo.html
Helloooooooo, you are not going to find any bad Lovebites songs, they have more than 50 songs and they all have that something different and special that hooks you, I leave you some suggestions, so you can see that they play everything. "Rising" spectacular video clip. "Dancing with the devil" style glam hooligan. "We the united" for me is like the anthem of the band. "Thunder vengeance", that's how a concert begins and of course a ballad to which almost nobody reacts and to me it seems like a work of art. "Epilogue" live 2019.A big hug
You're not wrong about the bluesy feel. One of Miyako's (Les Paul guitarist) idols and main inspirations is Gary Moore. I feel like he's there when she does her solo.
That's where it's coming from. Nice to know she's got the love for the blues.
I really like this video. A strong guitar riff and excellent drumming. Plus that was the Midori stare at 2:51. I love her.
I think your smile says it all, its the same smile I get when listening to this song. Another smile i get, is listening too, Epilogue, Empty Daydream or We the United. Peace ✌😎🤟 P.S. A big influence on Miyako is the playing style & sound of Gary Moore, slower, bluesy, alot of bends & vibrato.
yea I have been eyeing her bends and vibrato. Vibrato is my big weakness in playing.
It seems you’ve been severely lovebitten, too. Lovebites is breaking the walls of stereotypes in the world metal scene. One of the main influences for Miyako is Gary Moore.
She does an amazing cover of "Parisienne Walkways" on guitar AND piano.
Thrash...no one plays Thrash better LIVE than these ladies, no one!!! Their 50+ songs are different styles but all of them are EPIC, some more than others but never a bad selection so you will never be disappointed. When you are driven by a relentless pursuit for perfection, as these women are, you are never satisfied with the result so you continue to push one another to be better next time. Perfect example of the polar opposites here! Midori scraps your face with that Flash/Shred solo and then Miho transitions the song over on a great bass line to Miyako and her "Gary Moore" solo (when you see her pull out that Les Paul look out it is wailing time), yet is blends perfectly and sound awesome despite being completely different. Miyako then drops the Deep Purple organ sound in off that foot pedal to add to the change of pace, these women transition so seamlessly and with such little effort (well for them anyway) it is scary!! Lest we forget Miho and Haruna driving this baby from start to finish and Haruna and her fills keeping everyone sounding great. Asami really shows off how she has become the perfect front person for this group and handles Thrash great despite no metal experience before joining this band. These women all wanted her for the vocals and many questioned that choice early on, but they as always have been proven right.....never ever doubt this band they simply can't start anything without being exceptional and end by being flawless!! BTW they are on my bucket list for the Main Stage at Wacken Open Air...wouldn't that be insane, 80,000+ metal-heads going crazy to this band!!!!
If they hit the main stage at Wacken we will be in the same crowd for sure!!
Wow, great review..
I recommended Lovebites - Burden Of Time(live at studio)
The ladies wear normal outfit.
Thanks
If want you want to get their full range listen to "Epilogue" "Empty Day Dream" "Edge of the World" is a must, in that order. I recommend also, "Shadow Maker" official MV, my favorite. Most reactors listen this song first. Then "When Destinies Align" some do this first. I almost forgot is a must; You already know that Miyako is just as good on the piano that is she is on guitar. In "Burden of Time" live studio version, she play both.....at the same time.
You are my favorite reactor. If you want to hear one of Lovebites's best songs that has fantastic crowd participation and at the end of the song great interaction from the band then please look at a song called "Under the Red Sky" the LIVE version. It's a song about WWII when the Atom Bomb was dropped on Japan. It's a sad but beautiful song that is also fairly hard metal with lots of shredding by Madori. You cannot go wrong with this one, trust me. It's an older song but I consider it their most amazing live performance. Watch the whole thing including them bowing at the end and throwing durm sticks (not chicken) to the crowd, You won't regret, it I promise!
^this^ Midori Melodic Shred-Fest;
LOVEBITES ability to change the mood, the energy, in an instant, devastation to elation and "overcome"ing humanity's most extreme violence. Finding a way to use it to UPLIFT US...
Thanks!! Will definitely check that one out.
Very Good reaction ! Thank You !!! It is favored to only react to Videos of their Official Channel "Set the World on Fire"is a nice visual one you might need to add breaks ,,,loved it !!!
The more I've gotten into the Japanese music scene the harder it has become for me to not take a trip there just to see 2 weeks of shows. Bridear just wrapped up a tour of the EU/UK recently so hopefully that will get some other Japanese bands to actually leave Japan soon.
I was thinking maybe summer of 2022.... they will start touring.
I just found Bridear a few days ago too! I am with you, I am ready to head to Japan.
This song takes my breathe away every 4 bars from beginning to the last beat of the performance. WHEW !!!!!! Have you done RAISE SOME HELL ? Another killer rocker from the girls.
I agree. I have not done Raise Some Hell... yet
in the time it's going to be safe to travel to see LOVEBITE live, enjoy all the songs and covers (the helloween cover is a must) you didn't find any bad song, any dong that don't uplift you, love your mood! =)
🔥🐺🔥
Finally you're back again, great reaction as always, but it seemed you more to liking their heavy songs rather than the softer, but that was nice, might just because you like their energy on heavy songs.
But if you want to hear their ballad, pls check Epilogue, or Edge of The World.
Thank you 🐺🤘
It could just have been the day too. Some days I like heavier, other softer ones. There have been times I've had to hold off on bands because I felt off the day I was recording. And their have been times on album reviews I really didn't like an album and I put it back in my pile and said, give it a few days and come back to it then I got an entirely different feel.
Pls next check out {Today is the Day live} and be safe 😁🤘
Well. First they have to get a new bass player before new concerts......
🔊🤘😁🤘
Glad you enjoyed this one, real heavy and thrashy!! When Miyako brings out the Les Paul, it's about to get real!! 🤘🙂🐺🔥
