Floor is the ultimate siren...and Henk the perfect Phantom. I have never heard such a wonderfull duet...what a performance. Both voices flawless in every register😱❤
Henk is a beast. And you could see the happyness and admiration in Floor's face. And the hug at the end was priceless. Envy everyone who can go see them next year in the Netherlands. Good reaction, again.
I watched the translated version of the entire episode, which was great, but one of the coolest things is that they were doing this while it was storming out. The water was seeping through the canvas tarp all around them and they still were able to focus, not just them, but the band as well through the distraction.
The season began with Floor singing a song from an operetta for Henk and ended with Floor's Christine singing for Henk's Phantom of the Opera. It also began with me knowing and loving only Floor and ended with me loving the whole cast & show.
Henk played the part of the phantom 25 years ago so this was absolutely awesome. Floor asked henk to sing this and he agreed on the condition that he could sing it withnightwish when they visited the Netherlands the next time. So that will be happening november 24 2020. Also she is doing a solotour through the Netherlands and henk is joining that as well. And i have tickets to both :P Already can't wait
They will perform this on the night wish concert in Amsterdam. On this condition Henk agreed to perform this song with Floor. He is One if Floor idols. I saw Henk as the Phantom in the 90’s.

Usually, when something gets this hyped before we get to see/hear it, its going to disappoint on some level. But this time... the hype was understated, everything we hoped for, was delivered in ways we could not have wished for, simply because we never expected it to be this good, we expected excellence, and were given perfection... The hype was real, and it did deliver more than we were ready for. Thnx for your great reaction Nephi, i just love seeing your amazement on what she can do, eventho you know as well as we do, what she is capable of, and still she tops our expectations each and every time. (PS. Opera should be open to using distorted singing for certain Opera roles and songs, it adds to the power of the song, Henk 110% proven that tonight!)
This was musical theater on display and how much fun did they have being in character? Henk never had this much fun doing a duet before and his distortion part was great especially for a true opera singer. While this is not opera, it was a operatic presentation with rock/metal influences. Floor gets a chance to sing with her idol and doesn't disappoint. I will miss this show as there is nothing else with such respect and cross genre singing with great singers who really enjoy one another and are having fun singing to their peers. There has to be a CD or DVD from this show as Denise Hofs translation shows will be rerun again and again after this. Floor is doing a 9 date mini tour in the Netherlands in January, 2020 and Henk is going to be doing it with her, so this has to be on the set list. A CD or DVD from that mini tour would likewise be great. Henk did this on the condition he can appear on stage with Nightwish at their Amsterdam show in November, 2020 (which is already sold out), that is going to be epic!!! Great reaction and analysis as always and this seems to of exceeded expectations which is saying something as everyone thought they were ready for this!!!
Henk will be singing this with Floor during her six, but now nine (See below) upcoming solo sold out shows coming up in January, there in the Netherlands. Then next November (2020), when Nightwish plays their Ziggo Dome concert in Amsterdam.

what i love about henks part of the performance is his aggressive depiction of the phantom. i allways thought for the role the phantom is meant to have,,.. it was too clean in the normal shows.. regardless how much i love the piece

Those two are are world class, actually. Floor is chosen to front one of the biggest bands in metal, thats no coincidence.
