Oh, this girl looks FUN. So I had been vaguely aware that Madoka Magica had done some sequel stuff with a new cast, but I thought it was confined to manga exclusivity and that the animated stuff ended with Rebellion. This...this is VERY intriguing to me and now I'm half wanting to go track down Alina's source except I'm already in like twenty other shows But daaaaang, I LOVE her theatricality, she's dancin', she's wearing rainbows, this girl's the whole package
Magia Record's always sort of been around in my brain space since it came out - I played the game when it released for a while but wasn't too endeared to it (a little sad about that, since its servers shut down a few years ago), but I had read a Madoka spin-off before and was kind of disappointed, so I was hesitant to watch. But Alina's scenes appeared in my recommended some time ago and slowly broke down that barrier and got me to watch it. It's sort of an okay show, imo. Pretty to look at, some of the new Magical Girls in the cast are good, and you can tell they're at least trying to make a story that builds off of the themes, tragedies, and hopes of the OG series. It never reaches that level, and I think it stumbles and drags at times, but I can forgive a lot of that thanks to Alina and how she just absolutely steals the show whenever she's on screen. If Octoman was my favorite villain I met in January, Alina is EASILY my fav for February. She's REALLY energized and theatrical, she makes goofy poses and is just generally a menace. Her paint magic also makes for some really eye-catching scenes, which I tried to cram in as much of here! (Definitely not secretly working through a few magical girl series for a certain queen/half-elf's future mini-team. No way, that'd be crazy)
@@Makuta52 Too bad you're definitely not doing that, because I think that queen and that half-elf would basically work as parental units/older sisters for Alina here based on vibes alone
My favorite character from the series, and this song really fits her.
Very amazing video.

the name of this song is insane.
Didn't know there was a Spinel version of Insane. It's really damn good. And fitting to this new little psycho girl. Great work on the vid.
It's pretty snazzy, right? The chaotic, upbeat nature of it made it so I'd have fun with this one - and thank you!
@@Makuta52 You're welcome.
@@Makuta52Can you do another Alina Gray tribute but with the song “Build our Machine” from Bendy and the Ink Machine instead?
