    I’m not even a huge Sex Pistols fan, what I love about this interview is just watching two mates who’ve known each other their whole lives. The bromance is real, their little digs at each other and inside jokes, the way Cookie says “I’ve been doing his laff all week”. I love it.

    Cookie, what a great bloke. Ran into him early 80s, literally at a Portsmouth Chelsea game when it was going off, blues away game. Then played football against him in the 80s in the musicians league, was it Trident? What a modest, nice bloke.

    I really love oldies, the old people.
    How badass they were back in their youth, when the time comes, all of them end up becoming like this. Slow thoughts, signs of bad health, excited to talk about memories, forgetting, etc...

    Their laughter is infectious. It would be great is these 2 would play some music together again. When Jonesy had McLaren on back in 05 (?) there was lots of laughter. The first 5 minutes was hysterical.

    What great guys. I met them in '82 in Seattle after they played their Astor Park show. Both Steve and Paul were very nice, very generous with their time, great guys to talk to. I will alway remember them.

Being a Sex Pistol in England and America was risking life and limb. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, David Bowie and Mick Ronson, The Ramones and Motörhead are all dead.

    i was chatting with someone recently and they said they saw Paul at an assembly, i thought wow spiritual man , i may see you there depending where you go , last time i saw you i was at a the professionals gig 79 and you said hello mate on the stairs leading into the gig, small world .as we get older and the world falls apart globally you realize, its all very imminent and we are so fragile , anyway all the best Tim

    I remember seeing both of these in the Portobello Road pub where Steve says he bought Speed from Lemmy,it was called the Princess Alexandra,then re-named the Portobello Gold,and now just Gold.

      his contribution to the Pistols. Something Lydon won't do.

    "It's in the book!" .. I'm reading Jonesy's book, haha. These guys go back a long way (school) ... Weird thing about Jonesy - 35 years in America, he's very happy there, but hasn't picked up even a little bit of an American accent. Bless him for it.

    The Fulham Greyhound pub where they went to watch rock bands is still there but its been derelict for a few years,....I wish some of the old punks who have done well for themselves would get together and save it as a live music venue.
