One of the things that make your videos so unique compared to other planty videos is how your plants are just kinda free growing outside and there's always extra critters making guest appearances.. I really appreciated the squirrels playing in the trees at the end.
i would love to hear car tips, trellising ideas, how to deal with root rot or pests. We have all dealt with issues and i think it helps people to come to your page for advice or guidance. Also makes us feel better about ours not blooming or growing like yours its relatable.
Ohhhhh Ric this is such a nice Easter gift! Such absolutely beautiful plants!! I’m so inspired! Can’t wait to see some of these pop up for sale on your Facebook page! Thank you!
Ric all these hoyas are gorgeous!!! So many beautiful finds in Thialand!! Love the first one you showed with that red leaf! Hopefully the ubdulata will do really well for you and omg that hoya latifolia silver is amazing!!! I love it!!!
Happy Easter, I enjoyed the entire video. I love all the plants in your beautiful yard. The plants you returned home with are awesome. I love the leaves of the first few😍
Love the Swiffer story-I’m looking forward to seeing the next button in Swiffer series! Also, yay for Undulata and Versteegi! What a great haul! That silver latifolia is amazing!
I love your latest haul! I can’t wait to see how the sulawesiana continues to grow for you, it will be interesting to see how the variegation changes over time!
Wow! I’m so glad I discovered your both at the orchid festival. So many hoyas I need to add to my collection. Thank you for the tips on bringing hoyas back from Thailand. I’m heading there this summer. Now I just need to find hoya nurseries. 😅
Loved hearing Swiffer’s origin story! I found a malnourished kitten in a Magnolia tree when I was younger, I convinced my grandparents to let me keep her and named her Maggie. Your garden is so gorgeous, all of the plants you brought back from Thailand are stunning. I really love the latifolia silver 👻! Happy Easter to you and Swiffer so glad all of your plants are getting some much needed rain today.
Wow that ghost latifolia!!! And never new that about swiffer, not sure how I missed. Always miss your sales but want to get one of your Hoya this spring, I’m in Montana so it’s a bit to cold to ship yet.🥶
Just received a GORGEOUS undulata rooted cutting from Doug Chamberlain, and am also very anxious to take good care of it! Will be interested to see how it does for you! Also, he included a cutting of H. hainanensis, which from what I read on his blog, might be a cutting from a plant he received from you?! What a small world!!
Happy Easter Ric! Thanks for sharing your Hoyas… my favorite is still Undulata, she has been on my wishlist for a long time and I finally got the chance to purchase so I hope I don’t un-alive her 🤣 also hoping to keep the Sulawesiana that I got from you alive (2nd time’s a charm 🤞🏼). One day I hope to have the Sulawesiana Albo 😮.
Holy Hoya Ric! The garden stroll was amazing as usual. So many new plants added to my never ending list of wishes 😅😂 The Nap 020 is 🔥. Thanks for sharing with us! 💚
Thanks for posting the new video. Everything looks great. Do you buy the black hanging pots in bulk? If so, where and what size? They look perfect for many of my jungle cactus and other small pendant plants. 😺✌️
Hi Ric, I want to share regarding my experience growing Undulata, for the record, touch wood, mine is doing well and it even flowered. What I want share is on the contrary I heard it is very susceptible to root rot thus for this Hoya i especially kept it in an open, netted pot and deliberately under water. And it seems to be doing well under my humid and hot weather.
I will confess that I was a little afraid to watch this video. It seems like everytime you introduce me to a totally new hoya then my wishlist grows! Dangerous! But I got over my fear and it was worth it. Your collection continues to astound me. May I ask where you get the black pots with the hanger? They look rather perfect for hoyas!

Thanks for posting the new video.
Everything looks great.

😺✌️
I was also going to ask for the source for those planters. I have some sort of like them but the hanger is shorter. I like these ones better.

Undulata needs often spraying and dry imediantely.- as its epifitic plant. Water underneath pot would simply make root rot
Hi Swiffer! 😻😻😻

Hey Ric! I was wondering if you can share where you get those little black hanging pots.
A seller in Apopka FL sells them by the case of 400
Beautiful!!!
I’d pee my pants if I had that many peduncles! 😂
