Hey! Hope you are enjoying this weeks video! Sorry for shaky camera, in some points I was filming quite secretly. :D :) Have great day whenever you are! Kriksis
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed that, it was wonderful! It truly felt like we were on the trip with you. Cambridge is one of my favourite cities, it's so beautiful. You have such a natural skill for creating interesting vlogs. How amazing about the Heron too!
Thank you so much Natasha! This warms my heart :) I really wanted to show essence of Cambridge. I feel one of the perks of filming places is that everyone can see them with you! :)
You feeding the horses is so adorable! - I love the places you visited, it’s a lovely city. I also love the fact that you can draw and paint outside and actually enjoy it and relax, I need to put that in practice! Beautiful vlog! ❤
Such a beautiful video 🧡thank you for showing us around, all the places were so lovely, I specially enjoyed the bookstore and drawing but everything was beautiful. Hugs from Germany
Just Great! It was like watching an Independent short film with the perfect soundtrack. Through yr discreet camerawork you convey beautiful images and emotions. When you were riding, It felt, that it was me who was filming. It's funny, touching.I like the little details the heart on yr handlebar, the dinky doors...where I can feel in a way yr illustrator vision. It's like a daydream in the autumn colours. Love the interaction with the animals:-) Thank you Kriksis for the ride in this beautiful city that I now would love to visit.
Hello Debora! I'm super happy that you liked the video and felt that its calm, just the feeling I wanted to get while filming and editing. :) Thank you!
Wooooow, this bird and fish shot is sooo glorious, it is so cool you managed to catch it on camera!!!! Also Cambridge is so cute. I cannot believe people actually do live here.
Lovely that you took us on your adventure, I am very grateful. I like seeing your surroundings, artwork, and the heron and the fish reminds me of "Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery when the boa constrictor swallowed an animal
Hello Lulu! Happy that you came along and experienced Cambridge from my perspective! Thank you for lovely compliments! :) Ouh that is interesting reference! You made me want to read Little Prince once more! :)
What a beautiful place!!! I live in Wales but I've never seen a cow in a park!!! .they are in farmers fields but that's it!!!. What a lovely day out, I felt like I was there with you. I am really enjoying your videos and glad I came across you
I loved the entire video. Books, art supplies, bakery, coffee, animals, parks. It was a perfect tour. I love your videos so much, and I'm already looking forward to seeing the next one.
What a lovely lovely video, Kristiana! So relaxing and fun to see what you get up to in Cambridge and how autumnal it all looks, it's wonderful 🥰 and the footage of the Heron is so cool!! Can't wait for your next video 💕
hahaha! I am having the same experience with jacksons shopping carts! 😂 The thing is that I need my order to be shipped outside of the UK, so for the best shipping options I need to buy more supplies at once and it is as you said - you wait and when you finally have the thing available the other items in your basket are sold out 😭😂
Hello Veronica and welcome! :) Happy you came along and explored Cambridge! :) I tend to post vlogs once in a while, although I also post a lot of art supplies videos too. :))
what a beautiful vlog loved it, it was so smooth and calm and that bird (it's an heron) how beautiful it was and the cows so amazing that people in the city can live peaceful with animals my dream !
Thank you for lovely compliments! And thank you for mentioning Heron! I checked and yes! It was heron who I filmed at river! :) We have cows all year round, maybe except some winter months if it's quite cold. Everyone likes them and cows are not so afraid, because they are used to see people around. Wishing all the best to you!
And oh btw I used to live in York and there is this awesom cats trail that you might find interesting. I visited Cambridge once to attend an aircraft show but never noticed those miniatures! :( I feel that the material you have filmed is enough for more than one vlog! So perhaps you can make it longer or make it in two or more parts.
I will write this down! Thank you! About dinky doors, Im actually not sure how long they are here, maybe like 5 years? Some of them are quite new, even less than 1-2years? Maybe next time I will make a vlog of some sort, I will make it longer! :)
Which part is my favourite? All of it. I wish it was longer! I noticed that we are remarkably similar and different in the same time. I used to work for Oxfam btw; I agree with you on getting second hand stuff as much as possible. I really loved the animal shots in the video I can see you using them in future illustration work specially the unusual angles with the horses. But you know, Im very shy in front of the camera and very outgoing in public! I think since I was young I appreciate a bigger audience and I feel more comfortable the bigger the audience but when alone with the camera I feel very awkward and I can never be myself! I loved the bits when you were waiting for people to pass by- that seemed like a comic strip! was that intentional? A friend used to drag me birdwatching and I think the bird is some kind of a migrating bird, a heron of some type. I remember how my friend and the other birdwatchers used to wait patiently for the ibis to arrive-the excitement had to be extremely quiet but not contained haha- they were a funny bunch I enjoyed watching them more than birdwatching. Thank you for yet another enjoyable vlog and have a great weekend.
Aww you are too sweet! So happy to have you here Noora! I wish I could watch you Chanel with subtitles so I could understand the contents you are publishing! Also that must have been lovely experience to work for some time in Oxfam! :) Yes, I feel Cambridge is quite rich city with various animals so wanted to highlight that in this video! :) Thats so interesting! I feel I'm quite confident when I'm recording alone, but when someone is around Im shy/nervous. Thank you for sharing your experience its really interesting! It was real - when I waited for people to pass by, it wasn't one clip after another I actually cut those clips from various stages in that talking part to trow away, but then I put them together and saved in the video, as it resembled some part of how I felt in that moment and waited for everyone to pass by so I can continue talking. :D :) Thank you Noora!
When you were talking about the bird's name, for some reason my brain did not process that properly and I thought you were saying that particular bird had like a given name. It took me a minute to realize you were actually meaning what kind of bird it was. Therefore I think we should give him a name and open this thread up to suggestions.

I also live here in Cambridge too. I’ve lived here all my life. I like to go out and do plein air painting 😀 I buy more from Jackson’s tho.

Hey AJ Burke! Haha, that's so funny! Yes, maybe we should name him. :)
