Just got done watching this video and to be brutally honest, it's one of my absolute favorite analysis videos out there. You did a hell of a great job and brought up many nostalgic memories I had of this movie. I'm probably going to rewatch it once again because of you. Thank you so much for making this!
This video came out super good, MML. I think you sold the hypothesis that, not only can the camera hold meaning as a character, but its uses outside of the typical horror setting are valuable. The camera can tell a story, too, and not just the characters and landscapes it captures. Well done!
I'm commenting right after beginning this video. When Andrew is in destroy mode at the end of the film, he's also screaming no! Making me think he doesn't want to do what he's doing, but the powers are making him act. Am I the only one who thought this?
after watching the movie myself it kinda hinted at that Matt parents isolated themselves from Andrew and his Dad might've known about Andrew dad violent behaviour also might've been powerless to get Andrew out of the house
The Playing Field I actually realized after rendering that the question I thought you answered which led to you getting that credit was actually answered by someone else, haha. It doesn't matter though: you deserve the credit regardless. You were a huge help!
never heard of this movie, but kind of glad I got to watch it through your PERSPECTIVE AAAYEO but yeah, you explained the more emotion parts really well and God into the character's psyche, gg ggggg

Thank YOU for the kind words!
@@MMLCommentaries do you know the name of Casey's camera?
When the main character BECOMES the director. Now that's when you know the movie is better than Inception. Great work man, it definitely paid off.
YESSSSSSS! This is one of my favorite movies and deserves this type of analysis!

Remsorpax Thanks for all your help man. This video wouldn't be what it is without your help.
OH YES! I watched this movie like, ten times as a child and this is the first time I've seen a video about it!

Like how I'm "research assistance". Good stuff! Talking with you about this film made me rethink it quite a bit.
