I love it and I wonder if the style will make a comeback with new builders, there's gotta be someone who wants to bring this back with the right materials
I think McMansion is the going thing in new homes today. The "Atomic Age" styling will probably remain a cult favorite among those of us who like interesting, different, never boring styling with a taste of weirdness.
I’m not an architect or designer, but the bones of it are stunning!! The yard might have been overgrown and they just cut it back for staging, (i.e they worked with what they had) plus the low maintenance plants can be expensive. I think the furniture belongs to the owner (does not appear staged) so the prints and colors don’t really play or transition from room to room, but it is a beautiful home. Hope all goes well!!☺️☺️👌🏽👌🏽
@@RyanJohnsonD Thank you, Ryan! I’ve seen a few documentaries about Mr. Eichler, plus I live near San Mateo, CA and Marin, County. The style really is special.🤗
I , enjoyed this video. But I do need to say that the speed at which it was recorded was too fast, which doesn't give the viewer time to really observe what's going on in any particular shot. I kindly suggest taking a look at a video or two of the OPEN SPACE youtube channel. But I give you a thumbs up!
Show me a house over 40, 50, 60 years old that is original. Most of them have been modified to accommodate new convenience and functional requirements.

Love the No lawn front - that needs to be embraced in low rainfall, dry areas.
Cant understand black beams in a warm climate. Maybe im wrong but light color beams seems more open, airy and cooler.
Pretty house
Hey.
You had me
at 'bum dum a shup.'
Too bad it's not for sale
and in the wrong location.

You got a good eye. If you didn't know it, Eichler is consider one of the greats.

Just slow down the speed that the video plays.
PURE MASTERPIECE de quelle année est elle>?
How safe are these homes with the center patios? I can see someone gaining access by having a leg up over the front entrance into the courtyard?
If they want in, they'll get in.
Marcus/Annette leaves the same comment on each video I see 🙄
If you don't like my comment, stop reading it. Very simple....these are mid-century property's, not contemporary farmhouses.
awesome pad for successful single man or maybe a couple...no doors so no kids please. also the white supremacist posters are fascinating
This property is no longer original, big disgrace.
No longer original, big disgrace to the architecture.
