I had my test on 19th August at this location. I passed.Same route. The examiner was cool and gave proper directions. Thankyou so much for the video !!! It totally helped me prepare for the test.

It’s so hard during COVID. The shutdowns mean I’m going months between lessons and I start to forget skills and make stupid mistakes even when I practice with my parents. It doesn’t help that I’m a nervous wreck on the road. I’ll be so happy when I finally pass and can be done with this whole thing at least for another 5 years.
This video helped me pass my first attempt on the G2 Drive Test today, Dec 1, 2023. Thanks so much for the directions, although I got a different route.

My route was different, we turned left onto Ottawa from the plaza, then right on Montcalm Drive, went ahead a few streets and did a 3 point turn to head backwards, turned left onto Indian Rd from Montcalm, went forward and did parallel parking in this street. Then turned left onto Heritage and did an uphill park, lastly turned right onto Lorainne and then right again on Lackener to head back to the plaza, did a forward parking to end off
I was told my parallel parking was a bit off (back was a bit farther away from the curb) and I accidentally turned my wheels to the right for an uphill parking to the curb.
just an update that the limits throughout most of the residential area is now 40 and the school zone is 30.
Just took my test! I passed!! This video was very helpful! We took a different route and went straight on Ottawa after turning right out of the plaza. I expected to turn left, so I was anticipating a lane change, but he told me to go straight.
I’m not doing it here but I have my test today in Ontario and I’m so nervous 😩 Wish me luck!
Edit: Passed! I really recommend watching videos like these. Even if you do drivers ed there’s some technical things you can forget to do. It also gives great insight to what it’s actually like. The more nervous you are the worse you’ll do. Just treat it as a normal practice👍🏻

My test was dec 1st at this centre for 2020 and it was cancelled :( closest time I could book was this Thursday!
You should do a Woodstock test as it’s in between London and Kitchener

Thanks for the video, I just passed my G2test after fell 3times , I did 4 test all turned left from the gate out, I did big fell one time is on the neighbourhood is 40 kilometres I went 50, （you realy need watching the signs show the speed,this time I make it around 38 kilometres for while then goes up to 40, because when you suddenly goes 40 the speed will goes up more than that like 45 km ,)so you have to really check you speed every 5second , and back test the street is 50 I start from red light to green lights then it goes 55, it fell too, second test fell on parallel step 3 turn all the wheel to the left hit the pavement, we need really watching the right side mirror, or you have cameras you can peek 45 degrees, then you should not hit it (you turn like 30 degrees is the car is same size like you you gonna hit pavement later), I past during Neighbourhoods 40 kilometres I actually started easy around 38 because I don’t want over it then slowly add the speed up, it’s totally good, also very important at intersections you must do left right check with head move 90 degrees , when changing line must must do blind check first , when it clear then slightly turn change line , I did I blind check and turn the wheel change line at same time the car past right through it the examiner turned my wheels back that’s also cause fell , (if you push signals too hard it turned on don’t worry just fixing it it will not matter )and safety is very important,signals and check check,good luck everyone!

I am giving my G2 road test this January 29th and I will be taking my friend's car for it. I only wanted to know, the car has a blind spot mirror already, so I can check the blind spot mirrors for it every time or I need to turn my head back to check every time?

You have to move your head and look to the blind spot I also have the blind spot mirror but you shouldn't use it during the test you have to mooooove your head and see

I failed my test in Nov 2020 n my test has been postponed 3 times after that thanks to covid. Finally got a test date for Dec 2021. Feel this whole year has been wasted 😔

Did anyone have to reverse park??? Everyone I know that has their g2 already has said they didn’t have to!
So far no but better to know how to do It ,you don’t want be surprised !
I have mine today but my driving instructor said that if you parallel park that they usually don’t make you reverse either, but if they couldn’t find a car for you to parallel park on then you will probably have to reverse park

Uhhh he said I wasn’t “looking enough”
Everything else was goood. From lane changing to parking and obeying traffic signs.
But I have this suspicions that the evaluator wasn’t even paying attention to me. When I start looking at my mirrors and behind me. He doesn’t notice. But then moment I stop looking for a few seconds. He starts noticing.
I told myself that’s impossible. I HAVE to be looking when I’m parking or changing lanes or even traffic signs.
I’m thinking he was trying to bulllshit me.

When you’re doing your G test, you drive on the highway! That’s pretty much the only difference

Harder than mississauga
my dad's car does not make that tick tick sound when I signal. Is that a problem? It signals fine but it just does not make the sound.
I think it'd be better if it made the noise so that the Examiner knows that you put on your signal.
