Look don’t let Young Justice and Beyond as season 5 get Cancelled if though you don’t want to see it but others that are fans of young justice including me really want to see Young Justice and Beyond as season 5 because Young Justice is just a good show

After going through the video, you did make some good point but I don’t think that most of your points were valid, sure the last two seasons weren’t as good but I don’t think it was as bad as you were making them out to be.
@@cristoferportillo2454 Which is why I said twice that it’s still one of the best animated superhero series of the past 20 years and (once) that I’d still watch a Season 5 if it came out. The show isn’t unwatchable. It hasn’t crossed the line from good to bad, but it has crossed the line from terrific to good.
IDK man s4 was just terrible tbh carried by Nostalgia alone imo
@@criticaledition9199 I don't know. I thought it was a marked improvement over Season 3, I liked some of the arcs, and I liked the long-form Zod story (until the ending retroactively ruined it all).
I'm just curious what was so bad about season 3. It was a big return, and we got more characters which is the formula of young justice
@@rascal7855 In short (because the long version would probably require my making an entirely new video 😂) the storytelling quality just wasn't there. Too much focus on plot versus character growth, plots that weren't as strong as in the earlier Seasons, the bait-and-switch on the Darkseid front, too much wokeism to the exclusion of strong storytelling, then there was that AWFUL Judas Contract adaptation, ... et cetera, ad nauseum.

@@tttpppbbbaaa Nice hypothesis, but probably not. Young Justice’s creators never had those sorts of restrictions placed on them. In this case, the answer is far simpler: Greg Weisman doesn’t believe in “ending” stories or doing events of a scale so large that there’s no coming back to the status quo from them. That’s what you’d get in a Darkseid War (and DID get in Apokolips War). That’s why we got the drip drain Apokolips stuff over Seasons 3 and 4. And, to be sure, it had its moments. But plenty of it still felt lazy to me and like a betrayal of the audience who’d been waiting so long for a proper Darkseid War in Young Justice.
I'll watch season 5
So will I. Just not with the same enthusiasm as I had for 1 and 2.
Loved that show and can't wait till it comes out.

My investment in Young Justice dropped when they came back for a third season after being cancelled and instead of concluding the storyline they set up they wasted time with new characters that frankly after years of hiatus we don’t care about, ending the season on the same status quo that we were at at the end of season two without a guarantee for another season, and when they got another season they did exactly the same thing. Quite frankly I don’t care if this show ever comes back.
You have phrased it perfectly, my friend. (Although, as I said, I probably would still watch a Season 5. The show is still a hard DECENT in my book, and I'm not yet ready to say that it's irretrievable.)

Seasons 1-2 are awesome. And even seasons 3-4 won't fix it.
I even miss the Old World Light... The only one who really deserved the post is Deathstroke. The Ocean Master's potential was completely ruined, although it would have been there if Greg had at least tried to add to the role. The event of season 2 was still just Black Manta could have risen in rank higher as a lieutenant or as the right hand of the Ocean Master, and not what we saw.
Okay. After all, I have plans for how the Ocean Master could be cool, the guy should have his own room of underwater people, let's say you can even make King Shark evil in the future. But these are guesses...
In general. Seasons 3-4 can't be fixed in any way and this is a fact LGBT, um... politics and even episode 24 of season 3 that went beyond the framework will not fix this show. even season 4 which is only good because of 4 episodes with 1 arc. without this the show wouldn't have coped oh how it couldn't cope. so yeah it was better before but now it's a total disaster and the fact that Light is no longer the main threat but more like small fry to be honest... seasons 1-2 they had a big impact but now not so much... sadly many villains are being redeemed which doesn't suit this show. we urgently need young villains that Light sent on missions etc. and not characters that will be forgotten... alas but we have to admit that season 5 can be good but it's far from seasons 1-2b
Generally (but not entirely), I tend to agree.
Because even though Young Justice got destroyed in the anti monitor waves in the crisis that’s okay because sometimes DC Universe deserves a second chance because it’s a really good show and movie
@@guillermogarcia3709 First, the Young Justice world was never confirmed destroyed onscreen. Second, James Gunn and DC Studios have affirmed willingness to was to continue with elseworlds content aside from the main narrative. (Think My Adventures With Superman or Batman: Caped Crusader.)

I thought Season 5 was canceled.
Not cancelled, but HBO Max just didn't announce that there would be a Season 5. The streamer technically never shut the door on the idea but just hasn't yet announced that it will be renewed.
I hate to be that guy. I loved Young Justice so much. However its pretty obvious that part 3 of Crisis on Infinite Earths that the Young Justice earth whatever it ended up being designated was wiped out along with every single other DC animated show/movie universe. Even shows that like Harley Quinn, Kite man, My Adventures with Superman and Batman: The caped Crusader are already dead universes. It just hasn't caught up with them yet since they were in production. James Gunn wants one universe that exists with both a live action and animated projects. Crisis wiped the slate clean for that purpose.
MAWS has been renewed for Season 3. The DCAU that was shown was probably just an adjacent universe across the street lol (art styles were different for a lot of characters, like for example Batman and Joker looked like BTAS but the other heroes looked like JL/JLU). Caped Crusader wasn't shown I think. There's no actual impact, each multiverse is infinite universes, it can always just be a similar/adjacent universe but not the real thing, if they haven't confirmed it then it's just a variant of that universe that got erased, plus it's an Elseworlds story. What was actually affected by Gunn was the DCEU itself. The Arrowverse ended with The Flash and Grant himself admitted to ending it due to issues with higher-ups (e.g. Eric Wallace and whoever else) while the other shows had their own endings earlier on
You’re just wrong Gunn greenlit some of the shows you just listed and none of them have been cancelled the crisis movies have nothing to do with anything else
@@angelusb2066 Have you watched them? It was 100% to wipe the slate clean. There is only one animated earth now. That was the point of the film series. The literal only way to keep every animated universe from being destroyed was to condense it into one new Earth. Even if Gunn green lit those shows it doesn't mean they still exist. The first official animated DC Universe series is going to be Creature Commandos. Following that will be Blue Beetle. Like I said just because those shows haven't "ended" their runs yet doesn't mean that they aren't destroyed in the crisis. Not all stories are linear.

My understanding was that this was something of a gray area. DC studios is willing to make elseworlds content like My Adventures With Superman, Batman: Caped Crusader, and Young Justice but will simply (likely) not be airing them on HBO Max or whatever it's being called now. Also, the Young Justice universe technically was never destroyed onscreen in Crisis, which (like with My Adventures and Caped Crusader) does leave the door open for future content in that world.
