- Now this is a classic! Still Alive and Want You Gone are 2 of the most iconic ending themes of all time in my opinion. I just can't believe I played this one before Still Alive HAHA! :D

Oh man, having just played the Portal games for the first time back-to-back about a month ago, this is good. Hot take, I like Want You Gone better than Still Alive. Still Alive is more iconic and has better lyrics, but the lyrics are also going for completely different things, Still Alive is an 'I'll be back' song with a lot of foreshadowing, but Want You Gone is, as the title would suggest, a 'get out of here' song that ends the duology of games. I like the music as a whole better for Want You Gone, and Want You Gone actually sounds like a GLaDOS, a robot, is singing it, whereas Still Alive sounds more like a human singing it with a few bits in there to make it sound slightly robotic. Either way, fantastic games, both are fantastic songs, my opinion on Want You Gone might just be like this because I might barely prefer Portal 2 over Portal, although speaking in terms of which game I like better it's too close for me to really decide and if I were to decide I would probably start a comment war.
