This video is a bit crap, most of the battery removel is so obviouse what to do, but it doesn't explain the hardest part though, which is disconnecting the cable that goes over the battery. The cable connection doesn't come apart as easy as was shown, in fact if you don't know what to do it's a bit of a struggle.
@@Joshua-D there's a clip that you have to pull apart, where the two plastic connectors come together, but it's not very obvious where it is. Bit of a crap design, having the cable go over the battery.
Did you have to idle it for a period of time to allow it to re-learn its parameters?. Any procedure for that on this bike?. What if the ECU has been re-flashed for hi flow filter and pipes? Will that remain or will it reset to factory parameters?. Cheers
It should be an automatic relearn - if you've had the ECU flashed your base tune should still be in there and just relearns to those modified parameters. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Is it OK to disconnect the battery for long periods of time or could that affect the ecu as i left the battery disconnected on my Bmw 320 (car) and it messed it up all the relays were clicking and i never managed to start it again
I got mine from a local Suzuki dealer when I purchased my bike, but I'm not sure where you can get one now since they only imported the 1250 for 2011, and I'm not sure if any other bikes share the same tank. Sorry I can't be of more help, but thanks for watching!
Good work. You definitely gave yourself a cheeky 12V tingle there. 2:45 "ou-ow-t".
Thank you , you have given me the confidence to do it myself
Thanks for watching and good luck!

I’m stuck doing this part right now 🤦♂️

This answers exactly the issues I'm having. Thanks :)

It shouldn't hurt anything, but a good alternative if you're worried is putting it on a battery tender. Thanks for watching!
Hi, What mirror extenders did you have on with your older videos? Thanks!
They are from Metrick Metal - I made a video review of them here: ua-cam.com/video/TxRu6qf-0-k/v-deo.html

Perfect.Thank you.
Where did you get your tank bra? i can't find one anywhere, thanks

If only they build cars reliable as bikes.
True that! My Suzuki is 5 years old and has only needed 1 battery and new front and rear tires. My HD Road King has had zero repairs in over a year.
Great video. Thanks
Nice shirt aswell...haha
Thanks for watching!
