For reference: I am 5’2” and my measurements are as follows, upper bust 36”, full bust 40”, waist 33”, hip 40”
I love to make bags. Something very satisfying about the assembly of all those pieces, like a puzzle. It is no small bonus that they always are sized just right 😂

I got into bag making during the pandemic. After multiple bags, the shaft on my Bernina 750QE broke. It was replaced under warranty, but never sewed the same again. I now only use industrial machine on leather bag making

Your bag is beautiful. I was an avid bag maker, but now sew more clothes. I have always wanted to make a leather bag and sent as far as buying a Craftsy class and purchasing the hide. I've not actually made the bag, but maybe this is the inspiration I needed.

I've sewn with leather quite a few times before so even though the project was new, the materials were not. They were really nice to work with!

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
While I made my own straps for this one, the kit did include the feet!

Love your bag! That red leather is gorgeous! I love making bags too but need to expand my pattern choices. If you have small pieces of the leather you can make some Sallie Tomato zippy bags. I’ve made a lot out of leather. It takes pretty Small pieces. Love your dress I’m going to have to make one

It was quicker/easier than a blazer, but more time consuming than a t-shirt 😂.

Could one slice a length of stitch witchery in half long wize to help secure pockets for sewing if the pins pose a problem?
Wonder tape repositionable.
I used wonder tape quite a bit in this project because it doesn't take an iron and it's repositionable. I can't remember if stitch witchery needs an iron or not.
