Thanks for the video. I just started having the same problem with my 2021 26HST. 160hrs. No problem running the bush hog, but instantly turns off if I nick slightest bump with tiller.
Hi stumbled across your video because I have a 2020 max26 XLT. Shuttle shift that the PTO just started shutting off with my tiller running. Called the dealer and I mentioned your video and what your dealer fixed. The tech said there is no clutch on my tractor and it's all gear drive and he thinks a geR has broke teeth, but if it was gear drive then I would hear a lot of noise so I'm thinking he doesn't know the tractor. I'm supposed to take it to the. The 26th of June so he can diagnose the problem. I'm thinking about calling a different dealer and see what they say. Thanks for your video it gives me kind of an idea what's going on with my tractor.
Hi, first off I definitely would go to another dealer. Your tractor is the same a mine and you have a clutch because you step on the pedal every time you shift. And the PTO has what’s called an over running clutch! The 7 year warranty covers anything internal so they have to know this. Call a few dealerships the tractor has to work properly. Let me know how it turns out.
Thanks, i have the same problem with my Max26 2016. I have buy in the used and probably the seller knew the system was broken. i check summer 2024 for repair this shit lol
Yeah it sucks mine broke twice. I just got it back about a month ago. But luckily the warranty still covered it. Definitely get it checked out as soon as possible.
I bought my eMax 22 used last year and there is some oil residue on my rear assembly but with my 60in belly mower last week it lurches now and some times it fails to engage
Not good, depending on the year they do have a 7 year warranty. Take in to a dealer see what’s going on. I had my rear PTO fixed twice. Didn’t cost me anything. Thanks.
That sucks I just picked up my max26 this past week. I’m going to make an update video. Take it in and see what the dealership can do an or get a repair cost.

Definitely take it back to the dealership. That’s internal and the warranty covers it.

Having the same exact problem with my max25 hst. It's a 2013 so I'm out of warranty. Ouch! I'm also running a small 39" kuhn tiller.
