As an FYI, the Machine Chess variant addresses Tom's concern about one player making all of his/her moves before the other player(s) get a chance to make their moves. With that variant, the players alternate their moves.
Oh snap, thanks Tom! Token designer follow-up post: - Game is available here: www.robotstrategygame.com - For those wondering, when you open the box, the game is sorted out into a bunch of pre-made teams and decks, as to not drown you in content immediately - The Machine Chess game mode he mentioned is actually the "move one bot at a time" mode - The other main modes are a more objective-based VP capturing game and a Draft if you don't want a purely arena shootyshoot game - It goes to 6 players if you have the appropriate game mat - You can find the rulebook and TabletopSim demo here: zephyrworkshop.com/Robotstrategygame
Played a demo of this at GenCon this year and absolutely loved it! Artwork is fun and this is basically a stripped down Battletech with combining rules.

I remember playing this. I was the first person to demo it at pax east 2018. It was fun. Congrats to creators on getting DT seal of approval.

I met the creator at Ohayocon 2018. Cool guy, glad to see his project take off.
I still remember Melody's unboxing video for this.
The way he has the standies sorted hurts me.
