Why would you ever trust a dude named Methmen? "Hey, babe, meet my new friend: Drugabuser"
Nice pic fam
Methvin*
technically speaking, meth only became illegal in the US during the 70's, and actually had widespread use during world war ii to keep soldiers up and attem. It's only hindsight that has the name be associated with drug abuse.

They were starving and homeless, that's how they were caught. Life on the run wasn't as glamorus for them as everyone thinks
Wait do people really think it's fun
@@nuages8915 they thought it was exciting and romantic
@@thcu yeah so many people romanticize this couple of criminals. They were young and able but they were too lazy to work like normal people. Nothing was actually special about them.
@@alara5977 well being forced to work to survive isn't special either. And while I don't condone their behavior, not everyone can handle working. That doesn't equal being "lazy." Even if it did, being lazy is far from the worst thing one can be. Being a judgmental twat is worse. 🤷♀️
@@alara5977 They lived in the great depression. Finding work that could feed you was hard back then. That's partly reason why the public liked them so much.

The car still exists, by the way. I saw it in a museum and it's a chilling sight to behold. The sheer number of holes in the thing is mind-boggling.
which museum
I’m from Joplin Missouri, you can visit the apartment and the bridge they had a shoot out on. Joplin has a little museum and I believe their car is there and the pictures they talk about.
@@minchoochoo It's not in a museum, it's in a casino, called Whiskey Pete's in Primm, Nevada.
The actual car is on UA-cam videos all over in casino. I would love to see it in person though.
It’s in the Alcatraz museum in Tennessee
People like to romanticize bonnie and clyde meanwhile disregarding the fact some of the people they killed were completely innocent.
Yeah.
They literally killed people
you failed to see that they were successful to be seen and labeled as 'lovers' how authors can make their story into a cold romantic life. Everybody is human until someone breaks it by saying people disregarded the fact you are pointing to, but people highly idolized them because of love. Can you blame love for it? If we go by the same argument, it is their fault for feeling and seeing love and in a way, optimism amidst the horrors they committed. I think you need to take a step back and literally think about this.
They only liked the part about the love, people NITPICK things. Media is already full of people looking for bad things to expose too. Do understand that humans like to see two different coins and are divided always, the good part and the bad part. As it seems, you are part of those who like cold justice than warm love.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
Bonnie and Clyde became popular similar to how a politician is, well if we take it this way we would have more to compare it with. This would become an informative.
@Lasna34 no you are wrong, that's the thing if they killed someone's family members to whom you refer as "their" they would hate them, and that's the thing, as long as it doesn't touch you, you don't have the compassion (or should I say enough projected hatred) to hate them thus romanticizing them, so uncompassionfreaks or notknowingwhotoactuallyhatefreaks. Lasna34 please consider making better and more truthful conclusions next time.
@Lasna34 Please do note where the word 'romanticize' come from. I have overly simplified that as simple as humans can be, I have taken a liking about their romantic adventure, it is merely a play of imagination that it was romanticized, I will say this again, killers or not, they got romanticized because their pursuit of love was passionate enough to touch imagination and then fantasy came roundabout with it.
we’re ignoring how buck got shot in the head and lived?? it was the 1930s how did he do that
Bullets and guns sucked back then.
Thehipsteremo apparently so lmao
“shot in the head” might not necessarily mean the bullet actually penetrated, it could’ve grazed him our only taken a chunk out one side rather than hitting him somewhere important like in the brain. if i had to guess it was probably either a minor injury, or the way the bullet entered it never went out so it kept him from bleeding too badly or doing too much damage (depending where it landed, he might not have much brain damage at all) and he genuinely could’ve been fine once the wound healed up.
I mean my great grandpa was shot with an arrow on the head and survived...

bonnie really said: "mamma i'm in love with a crimminal"
😂😂
She even wrote a poem and sent it to her mother, (a week before her death, if I'm not wrong),

_And they’ll bury them side by side,_
_To a few it’ll be grief-_
_To the law a relief-_

That’s actually kinda sweet but considering they were criminals, they werent good people, just sensationalised to make it seem like they were good people.
"and this type of love isn't rational, it's physical"
I think she doesn't bother saying all this to her mamma

Oh, yeah, because nothing says true love like robbing and murdering people together. Seriously, people who admire Bonnie and Clyde or fantasize about finding their Joker or Harley Quinn need to get some help.
Clyde would beat Bonnie till she couldn't 1pick herself up from the floor.
@@bunnynjesus4eva I didn't know that, but reading it didn't surprise me. A guy who has a violent temperament isn't going to spare his significant other from it.
there is absolutely no evidence for that. her husband however was extremely abusive to her that's why she ran off with another man. in her poems she wrote about the hell he gave her. clyde cared about her a lot and would even carry her to places because she couldn't walk well.

Wait, is this what inspired the song Partners In Crime by Set It Off? It's lyrics sound awfully similar to this poem, especially:
"This is the night the young love dies,

I love the story of Bonnie and Clyde. It’s really interesting.
How about we not romanticize them, because Clyde was also physically abusive towards Bonnie. They’re as toxic as Joker and Harley. 😂
Isnt it just rumors tho
Actually, they BOTH would sometimes hit each other and then make up just as quickly and passionately. In fact, Bonnie was the one with the temper. Growing up, she was known for picking fights with both boys and girls. She was scrappy. Most of the time, Clyde would only hit back AFTER she hit him out of anger. And they never stayed mad at each other for long.

Love this series!! Especially learning of such in-depth info on the last days of these 2 starcrossed lovers' lives!!!! Such a sad ending for them. I kinda wish they'd been caught alive. I wonder just how different the world would have been.
Look into the Yuba County 5 case!! I literally binged all these episodes hoping y’all would do an episode on it 😫
It's amazing to learn that the reason that they were wanted on a federal level was just for transporting a stolen car across state lines.
I'm surprised they didn't try to bust Clyde on a Mann Act rap - he transported Bonnie across state lines for just about every immoral purpose you could name!
some people say "dyin' ain't so bad" but idk this doesn't seem too great
